We come here when the opportunity strikes, it’s a pleasant experience with easy parking, and not a long wait time to be seated. The dining room is large and glamorous (like something you’d find on the Las Vegas strip), the service is excellent Alisha our server stood out the most, and the food is consistently delicious. The complimentary bread was warm and toasty. We ordered (to share) the Crispy Fried Cheese (Havarti and Creamy Fontina Cheese Coated with Parmesan Breadcrumbs and Fried Crispy. Served with *Vodka Sauce). *The menu says vodka sauce, but it tasted like sriracha to us. As a group of four, we savored an array of scrumptious entrees that were nothing short of impressive. Bourbon Street Chicken (Sautéed Chicken Breast with Tasso-Garlic Breadcrumbs, Mashed Potatoes, Buttered Corn and a Spicy Cajun Sauce). Rib Eye Steak (Served with Potato and Green Beans) Crispy Caramel Chicken (Crispy Battered Chicken Breast in a Spicy Thai Caramel Sauce, with Mushrooms, Onions, Red Chile Peppers, Garlic and Ginger. Served with Steamed Rice. Spicy Ginger Beef (A Stir Fry of Beef Tenderloin, Shiitake Mushrooms, Sugar Snap Peas, Bok Choy, Red Onion, Sesame Seeds and, Spicy Soy-Ginger Sauce. Served with Steamed White Rice). All the entrees were meticulously crafted and, most importantly, not overshadowed by overpowering seasonings, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. This dining experience was a testament to the culinary experience of this establishment, left us thoroughly satisfied and eager to return for more memorable meals. We were too satiated for dessert… maybe next time ;)

This place offers authentic food at its finest and it's very convenient if you like to shop at Roosevelt Mall and get real comfort food. The lunch special is a must at this place before 5 p.m. we ordered the chicken parmesan and chicken Jambalaya and these two dishes are the best dishes in the menu. The chicken Jambalaya is very flavorful, nice sauteed vegetables, chicken very moist, it's not too spicy but very flavorful. If you want more spiciness you might have to ask for more spicy or get hot sauce on the side. The chicken parmesan is outstanding The breading is very flavorful with Italian seasonings and the chicken is very moist despite being covered with cheese and sauce. The choice of thin spaghetti with sauce was served great as the chief gave a nice serving portion. You get a lot of food for the price of these dishes during lunch special and it will make you full and appreciate your order. The server (Darelle S) was also very nice and helped us with our orders and gave us great compliments regarding our day. I appreciate her for letting me know that the chicken pot pie was no longer served and kept me updated for her years of service. Overall this is an excellent place and I highly recommend it (especially the lunch specials) if you want fancy dining and to gather with friends and family.

Grand Lux cafe is a wonderful place to come to for a weekday lunch! Most of the time I come at this time and the wait (if there is one) is usually less than 30 minutes. They still block out tables for spacing so it feels very comfortable whether you’re sitting inside or outside. The food... The kale warm grain salad is really fantastic. Comes with apple slices and pieces fig in it with quinoa in the bottom. Really nice, light, delicious and filling. There are some nice specials to be had. The bento box deals are great. You get a nice entree (small in itself) but comes with fries, soup, and salad. All together it’s a great deal and very well rounded meal. The steak au poivre came with 5 steak medallions and some delicious umami mushrooms. The creamy mushroom and chicken soup was good. The chicken pieces in it itself was a bit dry when I had it. But overall delicious soup. Clam chowder is available Fridays and it is fantastic! Very hearty and lots of clam! The turkey and brie sandwich is satisfying. Baby back ribs were okay. They weren’t bad but I’ve had better. I’d skip this here unless you really want ribs. Not because they’re bad, but you can probably get something more delicious. Service has always been kind and friendly on all the different occasions I’ve been here.

First time dining at this restaurant today, 4/5/25. We walked in before noon, and several people were waiting to be seated. I think it took us about 5 minutes to be seated. Our server, Michael, was very attentive. We ordered Fish and Chips, Garlic Chicken, and Breakfast Quesadilla. -Fish and Chips were served with sourdough bread, french fries, and peanut coleslaw. I loved the fish. It was fresh and nicely seasoned. The coleslaw was also very delicious. The peanut added texture and twist. -The Garlic Chicken was very fragrant and packed with flavor. It came with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. My daughter loved it. -The Breakfast Quesadilla was just OK. My other daughter didn’t like it as much. She didn’t want the hashbrowns and got it with a side of Caesar salad. She liked the salad but cannot say the same with the quesadilla. Overall, we enjoyed it. I love the menu. There are so many options to choose from. Next time we come back, I will try their other dishes.

Today on the way home from Cortland we decided to stop off for dinner as to not sit in rush hour. The kids have been wanting to go to Grand lux for such a long time now. We started the meal ordering drinks and they came right away. I ordered the seared ahi tuna, and it was cooked perfectly. They made a slight mistake with my order and gave me white rice instead of brown rice but quickly rectified soon as I brought it to their attention. My son ordered a grilled chicken panini with avocado and cheese. He said it was really good and really. There was even bacon on it. He loved it. My daughter ordered a chicken dish what she said was really good. She loved the purple carrot. The wife had their version of beef Wellington. It was not what was expected but she said it had a great taste. For dessert we had the fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies and a lava cake. Warm and Delicious from the oven. We ordered two cappuccinos that were great
