Previously we met in person for classes, but after covid she offered virtual classes for her students which we continue to do now 1x/week. The change from in-person to virtual has been very convenient and continues to be just as personal. Irene’s style of teaching is very interactive and applicable to real life conversations. I've been a student with Irene since last June and I have to take a break because of obligations at work and home, but I will definetely return. This isn't the language class that you took in school, this is real life spanish that is useful in your everyday life. Irene is a native speaker and is truly compassionate and dedicated to all of her students. I can honestly hold a conversation now in spanish and have no fear. I have wanted to be bilingual since as long as I can remember. My Dad is from PR, Mom is Italian, so of course being raised around your mom more, made it difficult to learn.
