Ordered a wiffle bat online with "3 in stock" 7 weeks ago. Still hasn't arrived. Have emailed twice asking what's going on. Got back an email "We still haven't received the bat from the factory" twice. I guess that means you're not actually a bat factory.. guess I shouldn't be surprised. Company provided no useful indications on when it's actually coming - and each time I have to reach out myself instead of getting information shared from their end. Bad experience. This is the first bad review I've ever left.
Update Sep 6 - 2024. Received the bat today. Seems to have magically shipped a couple days after I posted the 1 star review... Bumping the review up to 3 stars since the bat itself is excellent quality - better than expected, but would I do it again?.. probably not. Read moreWe were out for my bachelor party weekend and a majority of our trip is about baseball. Last night we stopped on the way home from dinner at the little bar that shares the same parking lot. Walking back to the car we saw lights on but, obviously at 10 pm the store would be closed so we peaked in the windows.I assume it was the owner was still there and he unlocked the door and let us in. Not only did we get a chance to look around it was like we got our own tour. What an awesome experience. I bought a bat for my son. My best man bought one for his kid and one for himself. So far it has the highlight of our trip and we are having a great time lol. It's so awesome that there Re businesses put there still that just truly care about the customers experience. Good on you. CNt recommend this place enough. Goint to be a memory for all...
Read moreOur family was in town for the Hall of Fame induction this past weekend and we did the Wood Bat Mill Tour at Leatherstocking Hand Split Billet Co. We spoke to Dave Wilson at the airport and he told us about the tour. Lupe was our tour guide and she showed us all over the mill, the hand split wood, how they dry it, measuring the wood to maximize their output, quality control and the processes it goes through to get to the billet stage and then on to what we know as the wooden bat! The people we met on the tour really love what they do and enjoy teaching others about the processes from tree to wood bat. The tour was an amazing experience and a must add to your Cooperstown weekend.
The tour also includes one token per person to be used at the Wood Bat Co. at the...
