2 New Hampshire teams drove 5 hours plus and fundraised for months just for the wonderful people at Cooperstown to cancel the game just hours before first pitch ‘due to rain’. We are unable to ever play this game at Doubleday Field because games are scheduled a year in advance. So now because of a little bit of rain both teams will now have to make the 5 hour journey back home having not gotten the chance to play at all. How does it make any sense that our schools play on rainy and rundown high school fields all year but the ‘magical’ Doubleday Field can’t take a tiny bit of rain and get it in playing condition for 1 o’clock? Thank god that the grounds crew is okay with letting this happen, otherwise they would have to go outside and...
Read moreWe were excited to play at this historical field but the hospitality of the park leaves much to be desired. The field was not groomed prior to the$500 game we played there today. The stands were a mess with pizza slices on the floor and trash everywhere. The ladies room had no TP or paper towels and looks like it hasn't been cleaned since 1940. The floor in the restroom at the field was like a run down gas station. To top it off we for a parking ticket at the field 2 minutes before our game ended. I used it to dry my hands. I wash my hands of this field. Second time here, just as disappointing...

Please raise the seating above the walkway on the first base side or add more ushers to move people along. Get a working scoreboard(Daktronics). Fix the outfield wall. Also in the museum update some of the exhibits. Like the lockers of all the teams. You have a Yoan Moncada bat in the Red Sox locker. Attention to detail fix these type of things. Overall still worth the trip, but pay attention Hall your...
