Very impressed with the Cooperstown Bat Company. They have a great selection of custom made wooden bats. Many different bats with different styles and colors. The bat flag piece seemed to be a popular purchase and would be a great addition to your baseball themed decor.
I came into the store because of an interest in their historical bat replicas. They have a series of unique historical bats from past periods in baseball history. These bats are modern creations of historical styles. Among these is the Lajoie model which I believe is intended to appeal to suckers like myself that want something which ties to their love of the game personally.
How could I turn down an opportunity to own a bat style used by Mr. Cleveland Indian himself. I could not and after about 45 minutes required for the custom engraving I walked away from the store with a few less dollars in my wallet but with a great piece for my collection. The engraving is great and I am very pleased with the style and workmanship of the bat. I will be back as soon as they design an Albert Belled...
Read more2 broken bats in just about as many games. Replacement bat broke on first contact. Then after going back and forth sending countless pictures/videos I get an email today saying they aren’t going to do anything to help me out. They want me to spend my money to send it to them to view in person. Frustrating after waiting to receive the bat, for it to break on first contact. I understand bats can break if not used right. I’ve been playing my whole life, I know how to hit a ball. Something was off. The replacement didn’t even look the same as the original. Looked unfinished or as if it was a throw away bat that they sent me as a replacement. Save your money, and go with a company that offers a good warranty. Or composite. I was really excited about this company at first. Bums me out.
What’s even crazier is a bought a $40 Louisville slugger bat off Amazon…I’ve used it every game since. And...
Read moreBought my son what was supposed to be a "Souvenir" bat engraved with his name. The bat looks awesome and feels awesome to swing, it has a fat handle which is much more comfortable than the aluminum bats he has with a skinny handle (Easton & Rawlings). He decided to use it in practice so we put a lizard skin grip on it. Since then he has been alternating this with his aluminum bats during games and the bat flat out performs. He has hit some rockets into the outfield and seems to hit better with this bat over his aluminum bat. It also sounds awesome when he cracks it, much better than aluminum. Now multiple teammates use his bat over their own. For $50 this bat is...
