I strongly advise you not to buy or sell with Collectors, this business is disreputable and untrustworthy. Specifically: Collectors sold me a Submariner that turned out to be on a register of stolen goods.
I only learned this after having sold it to a friend who sent it to Rolex USA for service and it was returned with a letter stating this.
When I asked for Collectors to refund the purchase, they refused forcing me to take legal action that is still ongoing! Not checking the provenance of the goods you sell is one thing, refusing to stand behind what you sell is another. Again, I urge you not to do business with Collectors!
UPDATE:
Since Collectors has responded to this review with incorrect information I am updating this review to underscore that I only learned the watch was stolen after having sold it to a friend, so Collectors could not have offered to trade it for another before I sold, as their response claims. I’m attaching a copy of the letter in case there is any doubt.
Furthermore, I was never offered this trade: Collectors suggested they would consider it and then refused to respond to my emails and calls, forcing me to retain legal representation.
Moreover: I do not want another watch from Collectors that might or might not be stolen, might or might not be authentic, might or might not have damage, as I have read other reviews of the company indicating is common. After selling me a stollen watch, I do not trust their merchandise. I want a full refund and I am entitled to one by law.
The purpose of this review is to present the facts of my experience doing business with Collectors, so that other potential customers can be informed before choosing whether or not to work with them.
2nd UPDATE
I am updating this review to address comments made by Collectors in their updated reply.
First, I did not receive any offer from Collectors to replace the watch, at any time. I will give Collectors the benefit of the doubt though: perhaps their emails or calls with offers never reached me, although others did? I would be unlikely, however, to accept a replacement offer from a merchant who had previously sold stolen goods. A cash refund is the industry standard.
Second, I certainly don’t expect to keep the watch. No one wants a stolen watch. I immediately agreed to refund my friend when we learned it was stolen, as Collectors should now agree to immediately refund me, in return, of course, for their stolen watch back.
Finally: I did not in fact buy the watch in 2021, I bought it in 2022. Perhaps Collectors has me confused with a different customer to whom they sold a stolen watch in 2021? Perhaps this is the customer they contacted with multiple offers to replace the watch? I don’t know.
I am glad though that after over a year of silence, Collectors is now communicating with me, even if it is only through the public format of Google reviews. I hope that my attorney can conclude this matter with Collectors swiftly now that everything is out in the open.
3rd UPDATE
The Collectors response initially stated they had sold me the watch in 2021. I corrected them in my subsequent update to 2022. Their latest update corrects the year and specifies the day and month; then goes on to state that the watch was sold to me by a different company. This is of course not the case: how could Collectors know the day and month of a sale they did not make?
This will be the last update I make to this review. I think my point has been made to potential Collectors customers. If this looks like the kind of interaction you want, or don’t want, you can decide whether or not to do business with Collectors. I will continue to litigate, in...

I found a Rolex watch on Ebay that I was watching for awhile. I have had a Breitling for many years that I am very happy with. As I've gotten older I don't like how big it is. Rolex's new ladies watches are the size (or bigger) of my Breitling, but I have small wrists and it is really clunky on my wrist so I wanted a watch that would be more comfortable for everyday use. I also used to be flashy and like all the diamond bling and shiny stainless band on my Breitling but now I want something a little more plain for everyday wear.
After months of looking at many, MANY watches and looking at many in various stores I was pretty sure I had narrowed down what I wanted. I found the watch and Massapequa Park jewelry store on Ebay but I went to their website and bought directly because I know Ebay charges a commission and would rather retailers keep more of the money for themselves. And with shipping/taxes the watch was more on Ebay.
I convinced my husband that I needed the watch for our anniversary but he was wanting me to get rid of a watch first. After discussing it a few days he finally agreed. I bought the watch guessing it would take a week to get it because New York to Hawaii is a LONG ways.
They are SO professional they called me at 8:19 AM HST and after a couple of exchanges and a text of my ID (to make sure I am real and to validate my unusual address) they sent my watch. How in the WORLD it made it to my very remote address on an outlying island the NEXT DAY is INCREDIBLE!! So I actually RECEIVED the watch ON my anniversary! Wow!!
Very professional organization, everything was exactly as described! I love my watch! I would definitely buy from...
