I decided to check out this newly opened indoor playplace on a Saturday afternoon (3pm-5pm) since my child and I liked the Little Neck location. It wasn't too packed during those hours and more people started coming towards the end. I'm not sure if it's because this place is new. It is really nice and very open concept. The play area is enclosed by a gate so you don't have to worry about your child running out of the place. Although a little cramped, there is free parking in front.
You can either purchase tickets on their website or in person. I purchased in person. Credit cards are accepted. I'm not sure if there's some sort of online convenience fee if purchased online though. There is a waiver you have to sign prior to entering but it's quick and can be done on your phone. They also offer passes or memberships (see photo).
We decided to go with the 2 hours of open play which I felt was a perfect time frame. There is the option to order drinks at the counter or purchase drinks from their refrigerated area which is next to the carousel, accessible from the play area. In terms of food, I thought I saw a menu somewhere but didn't look to see what was offered. There was some bags of chips for sale by the refrigerated drinks. Also, no food with nuts are allowed at this facility. There isn't much seating up front by the counter but there's a good amount once inside.
For bathrooms, there's two unisex spacious private ones in the back (one has a changing table) that each have a pair of adult and kid slippers. Very cute! By the bathrooms, there's also 2 water fountains.
In the play area there's a pretend theater studio, pretend supermarket (with plush vegetables/fruits and velcro fruits to cut), 2 small trampolines, a huge ball pit with 2 slides and things to climb plus an additional spiral slide. There's also a padded carousel (ongoing slow rotation) and a padded schoolbus (ongoing slow rocking). If you like claw machines, there's 3 mini claw ones you can play. I think it's $1/play. There are also some ride on toys as well as some soft play items and magnetic tiles in the front by the entrance. In the ball pit area there is an interactive screen that you can throw the balls at to play the games on it.
Overall I would recommend this place for probably younger children. There's a lot for that age group to do.
Remember to wear/bring socks otherwise you have to purchase a pair (~$3?) in...
Read moreMy kids had a wonderful time here! It really was priced very fairly. The ball pit and slides were fantastic. I bought some snacks there which were also priced very fairly. It was nice for them to sit and take a break from playing. There was also a lot of seating around for adults. I just wished the staff spent some more time helping to tidy up toys more frequently. Many of the toys from the toddler area, "food shop" and dress up area were thrown a muck constantly making those areas almost useless at times. I noticed some toys also hiding in the ball-pit, which is inevitable. I did feel like I spent sometime searching for toys for my kids when they were not in the ball-pit and the mom in me felt like I had to help tidy up. Most of the play places I visit have sessions so your child is walking into a tidy area to play. Here the play is continuous so your child is most likely walking into a bit of a mess but I found the ball-pit to be the main attraction for most of the kids. While I do believe having sessions may be nice in terms of getting to walk into a fresh space, I will say the unlimited time option is nice to have and well...
Read moreOne of the best toddler friendly spots for a cute bday party! We just had my daughter’s bday party here and let me tell you… the service, the attention to details… come the decoration… Nana’s wonderland did it all. I had a very unique theme, Disney Tsum, I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate, I was wrong! They did, they found everything from the backdrop to table cloths, cupcake toppers! They had the whole package, I really felt like they went above and beyond to meet my expectations unlike some other places I asked they simply just said they didn’t have that theme on the book. My picture tells it all. Everyone from age 2 to all the parents, everyone had a blast! The day of my party our hosts Richard and Tom were fabulous, they handled everything from helping us unload the car to setting everything up including our outside food. Everything went easy and smooth. Will...
