I am so lucky to live so close to one of the best stores to have ever existed. Every week is like treasure hunting, it's unbelievable some of the stuff they get in!!! Sometimes it can be hit or miss but for the most part you would think I was discovering gold bars here because I am consumed by sheer joy everytime I come. The employees are fantastic, I love the younger guy that's always in the shoe department he's a doll, love the lady in the fitting room with the glasses she is always smiling, friendly and does a great job back there making sure you have the right tag for the # of clothes and never making you feel bad if you have to put most of what you pick out back, cashiers especially as of lately are all amazing either funny, polite, both and so relatable and easy to talk to and almost always you can find the manager in there working just as hard as his employees, running the team like a fabulously oiled machine. One tiny suggestion would be to figure out a way to clean up the cosmetic and skin care section, resealing open boxes/products or throwing away damaged packaging (example: lip gloss in super damaged box, take lip gloss out place price sticker over half bottle and half cap so I can't be opened) just anything to neaten and organize (I know it's hard because the Savage customers make it like that) but other than that all I can say is WOW. Here's to living down the road from a treasure ridden gold mine run by the nicest people ever ready to help you find what you're looking for. BRAVO RIDGE MARSHALL'S CREW. YOU...
ย ย ย Read moreIn comparison to every other Marshall's I have visited over the years.....Overall, this store is well-organized and offers a variety of selections, and since this one is located in Pittsford, there is a much larger, higher-end (and therefore higher priced) selection to choose from. The only problem concerning higher prices boils down to the shoe section- not too much to choose from under $30. Anyways, I was a bit put-off upon my first and second visits, as the younger female staff seem aloof, unhelpful, and quite franklly, rude. I am a young person myself (22) and have worked various customer service related jobs, it takes a personable person to actually fulfill the main duties of "customer service"- so drop the attitude or find another job. Anyways, the one saving grace of customer service is the fitting room attendant, Nancy. She is warm, friendly, makes everyone feel like family, and gives off the impression that she enjoys her job- whether or not she actually does is none of our business- and that is exactly what good customer service should be. Actually, most of the female employees over 30 are normal, friendly, and helpful- the same can not be said for the butthurt teens. Nancy is the defining reason as to why I will come back to this location again- if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have too many good things to say about the service...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is my #1 Marshalls. I am very picky when it comes to clothes. I need a combination of something that looks good, is extremely comfortable, fits almost perfectly, and is good quality. Anything less is unacceptable. It's always hit or miss at Marshalls for me. Sometimes I score nothing, sometimes a few items. They continuously get new shipments of different merchandise, and there is a portion of each style allocated to each store. I try to stop by Marshalls at least once a month. Just because you've stopped in there once or twice and haven't found anything, doesn't mean you aren't going to score something you love on the third or fourth trip. Sometimes you find crappy quality stuff, sometimes good quality stuff. I love Marshalls for finding shirts, jackets, hats, gloves, socks, kitchen and household items, snowboarding gear, and more, all without laying down a fortune. I do find similar prices for their merchandise online, but I get to try stuff on first, and returns are easy, though you only have 30 days when most stores are offering 90 days or even unlimited. I like this particular Marshalls the most, and have scored some of the best stuff here, though I have gotten a few things from the ones in Henrietta (#2 in list), Greece (#3 in list), and Irondequoit...
