As a parent, the waiver for this establishment is a very big issue for me. Signing away your right as a parent to the consent of photos being taken and used of your child on a public site and social media by the company and anyone they chose to affiliate with is something, I believe, no one should be asked to do. Though this is a choice at this establishment and one does not need to sign that paper and can take their business elsewhere. I would say, in modern times, I don’t know many people who read waivers, especially a parent who is just trying to show their child a good time and needs some respite themselves. I also find the part in the waiver in regard to kidnapping and abduction, in my opinion, to be unsettling.
As general advice, and I am not an attorney, these are just my opinions and should be taken as such; parents, please be aware of anything you sign, these are YOUR children and until they’re the age of majority in your state, I believe, your consent should be taken into consideration. Read waivers carefully as you never know what you’re being asked to give away in the form of your rights as a person and/or parent.

Read moreWe absolutely loved this establishment when we first visited, but learned very quickly they put profit over people. When you sign their waiver you are essentially allowing anyone they consider to be an affiliate or marketing partner to take videos and pictures of your children and post them on their social media.
We experienced this first hand when we found our son on a content creators instagram page promoting roc kid city. When asking the creator, Kelly from macaroni kids east side, to take down the video she refused and then blocked me. Then when speaking to the owner of Roc kid city we were told because Kelly does marketing for them, there was nothing that could be done.
No offering to rectify the situation, nothing to see how to make their patrons feel safe when visiting their establishment. Just a mom who apparently has to be okay with allowing strangers to take pictures and videos of their children and posting them on their social media when visiting roc kid city. Will NEVER be visiting this...
Read moreToday I went to celebrate the birthday of one of our children with family and friends. The treatment by the staff, especially Jessica, supposedly the manager, left a lot to be desired with her treatment. In addition, I feel discriminated against by the way she treated us disrespectfully and yelled at us. Threatening people because they apparently can? This woman told us they would take us out with security I do not recommend it at all. And the bathrooms? I feel offended by just looking at them.
Reply to ROC' kid City comment Yesterday 1/5 I was there from 12:55 to 2:25 more or less to celebrate my friend's son's birthday. We went with great excitement to spend some time with family and friends with the children, but the treatment by Mrs. Jessica, apparently the manager, was terrible, unprofessional and disrespectful. The truth is that I do not need any refund, because it was my friend who reserved the place. What does seem reasonable to me is an apology for the treatment of all those present at...
