-TLDR- YES!!! the GIZMO still works! (They just run it on a limited schedule due to noise issues) Great Stores! Great Staff! Great Vibes!
-The gizmo has been running since the 1980s and is still clacking and dinging. My family and I always take a picture or two near the rube Goldberg machine when we trek that way
-Anchor stores are always buzzing. Target, hobby lobby, Ross' Ollie's currently
One of the cleanest malls I've visited ! (One of the few malls that staffs a person right in the food court to tend to sudden spills! ) I don't know her name but there is a pleasant drop of sunshine who sings in russian? as she tends the food court, very nice person!
-The interior has a bouncy house business that does kids parties or just by the hour (and YES there is some clean comfortable seating immediately near the large glass walls so parents can relax while their children burn off the high octane sugar from the cotton candy machines nearby)
-I was sad to see the book store book burgh go. The couple who worked there seemed so pleasant.
-currently the food court has Sbarros pizza ( my kids favorite), China Cafe (teddy is always so welcoming and food is great price) and Island Vibes (jerk chicken there uses a unique recipe you have to try to believe)
-Games top staff is always really nice (even when my kids are being a handful) Shout out to their manager!
-American Eagle, Maurice and Claire's have plenty of variety and I know my wife hates ordering Some mislabeled size or style clothes from some careless overseas warehouse only to get it and see it's the wrong thing completely. We like actually TRYING clothes on, and getting what you expected. What are we really talking, like a 1$ difference? And not having to destroy the environment by shipping a product back and forth back and forth back and forth back...
-the living edge has some really unique tables and decorations
-DSW and Shoe dept have a wide variety of foot wear (did you know Caligula means 'little boots'? He was named after his child sized armor he used to wear on campaign) the manager of the shoe dept (starts with a B ? ) is such a nice person! Very helpful!
I would just like to take a moment and call out some wonderful people who buzz around behind the scenes.
-Jack the dog and his human Russ were recently recognized by the parent company for their hard work and diligence in hands on operations of the mall. Way to go. Russ has been a familiar face since waaay back when and it seems the mall is in good hands.
Scott, or Mr Fixit, as my children call him when they see him on the grounds fixing knocked down signs or patching the hull of that ol gal. If she's seaworthy after all these years, we can probably thank Mr Fixit.
-Lisa, a very pleasant mall office staff, is a staple of the community and can always be found laboring for a noble cause such as the recent work with mall staff on a dog park area.
-of course I can't forget, I dont know if he's stil there but my father used to mall walk and kept mentioning a very nice security guard who was chipper and pleasant in the mornings. Never got the name. Bald, glasses. Anyway, dad says hi.
sorry for the ramble.
-it's a great place, with good people and it's still an amazing place to...

The azure-washed hulk spans above the blacktopped sprawl freckled by a frenzy froth of sea bird biplane dogfights, opaque black orb eyes scan. squawk, glide, scream, snap,
circle, circle circle
A dulled pale swirl canopy settling generational vendettas with beaks, clacks, breaks, hollow marrow weighted with war
circle circle circle
the shrapnel floats, the wreckage wanders, speckled slow snow onto upturned chins, smudged vehicle glass and toddler hands nested like walnut meat in the shell of a maternal fingers.

The drifts wander to the whims of the eastern breath to catch and hold upon the acned jagged crags of the brick face.
We meek weak earthen broken swollen toiling heavy-boned creatures, spectate, ignore and abide below the war.
We are breath-starved, parallel parked, digits crane beak thrust in darkened purses fishing car key prey,
We are the settling beams of dusk on a sunvisor mirror across beckon-hither shades of new lip gloss
We are the echoes of action figure packages torn open in the back seat,
We are the fresh plastic aroma, the ice-glazed snow crunch of shopping bags Brimmed with detected selected, hand -gathered treasure.
We are the ache of warm golden butter pretzel crust,
the shark fin mumble of the rolling blade pushed through heat-coaxed dough
the waft of verdant succulent island meats
the scent of sweet wild sauces shared under a smile
We are the muted prism perfect versions of these finite moments drawn in a landscape blur against the crystal-walled gates of this temple of together.
We are the low crimson coal heat residue
from a day we spent
with eachother
as a high bright fire.

Read moreHaving girls day out...have visited target along with the target starbucks...the girl at starbucks was super sweet. Then we went to bath and body works..my daughter..aged 11..and ended up buying things for myself also since it was such a sweet sale. DSW next..then nail salon (too expensive now) and arcade..not busy..good fun and lastly sephora aka dreamland. We were hoping to see our favorite consultant Kristen Orr but she wasnt working. But good day overall ..UPDATE: I hardly ever go the mall anymore...prefer online but recently paid visit to VERIZON store to buy my 13 year old her birthday present...the iphone 8 plus I believe...of course crazy expensive but I trust verizon so I stay with them. The young woman we had ...very nice..I had called her in am to check availability of color...she said she would try to put aside for me.. (she admitted she had forgotten and I very much appreciate honesty) and that she was working until 6pm. The date was 06/14/2018. I can't do names but she was also training another woman. She heloed my daughter with cover and charger etc...transferred data. Awesome experience once again. We will be back for same phone but different color for the next birthday...early august). Unrelated but on the way out I saw an awesome sunglass kiosk. My last time there..the only one there had very cheaply made glasses only. Quite the variety here. I may...
