While doing Saturday errands, my husband and I went to get 5 gallons of paint tinted. 4 all the same, 1 different. When we arrived to the paint department, no one was around. We did see a woman with red dyed hair, say hi and walked past us saying she would be right back. OK. Mike showed up and we told him what we wanted, he was attentive and polite. Meanwhile, the red dye hair lady comes back, Ashleigh, and heard our and Mikes entire conversation/order. We informed Mike we would come back for the paint in a few hours. He said he would have in ready in 5 minutes, we reiterated we would be back in a few hours (when we went back to pick up our jeep at the dealers).
We left, got the jeep about 3 hours later, he stopped at Home Depot. NO PAINT was ready. When my husband asked why it wasn't ready Mike told us it was because people order paint then never come back to pick it up. OK, I understand. What we do not understand is why didn't Mike tell us this when we first ordered the paint and we would be back? Or Ashleigh?
Mike offered the manager, my husband declined. After mulling it over and while waiting for 5 gallons to be mixed he did infact want to speak to the manager. Mike got the manager and it was the red hair dyed lady Ashleigh!!! My husband was furious. Ashleigh, the department manager, could have stopped us in the very beginning about premixing paint and why. Her excuse, she didn't want to interrupt Mike cause he was in training, and she didn't want to embarrass him. Then she proceeds to BLAME US for not saying hello to her. We couldn't!! She ran past us in her flaming red hair. She also proceeded to belittle my husband when he wanted to know why we weren't told in the beginning. Ashleigh did not appreciate the questioning, nor his statement claiming poor customer service on her part. It got both of their dander's up for sure. I have never in 25 years had a bad experience here, till red hair dyed Ashleigh did not speak up and open her mouth. If Mikes in training and she was training him, what is she training?
This whole thing could have been avoided if red dyed hair Ashleigh would have trained Mike properly, and saw this as a teaching moment.
Mike might not be the correct name for the male...
Read moreSo our washer broke in December. We went in and decided to get a set washer and dryer. The dryer wasn’t going to bbe able to be delivered until Jan 4th (no big deal since our washer was the issue) The washer was going to be delivered within 3 days of order! Great no issues! We went up to customer service to do the checkout and pay. She asked many questions including asking about installation which we refused because my husband can do so. Then asked about hall away and that it’s $50 each (which we already knew and was no issue) so we said yes BUT we only want our washer taken and will keep our old dryer for backup. Lady said ok no problem.
Well come December 18th when the awesome delivery drivers came to deliver the washer they didn’t have an order to take the old one. They said no worries just call and make sure you get it put on there for when the dryer is delivered.
I’ve called customer service twice. The First Lady was so rude, I hung up. Waited and called back spoke to a nice lady who says it’s not on the receipt so we have to pay. I understand that but that’s not our fault that’s theirs so I feel like it should be taken care of!!
Today we went in and spoke to the store manager I believe was Mike nice guy told us he would have a lady named Christine call the warehouse get it put on there and that she would call us back. Calls us back says it was able to get added on but that we need to call back to pay the $50 and 3.25 for taxes. When you try to call you get an automated machine that gets you no where.
Overall this has been such a hassle!!! Not worth it! Should’ve went to Lowe’s seeing as how we spent...
Read moreThis store was real trash.
The lumber department, probably leader, or should be if not, Jim I was told his name was, made my entire day. He was sympathetic to my interesting project of making wooden shoes. Now, for a little background, I just got out of the hospital, due to a possible snake bite, and had been in pain for the last 14 hours before arriving to this store. The snake bite was on my foot.
I do not choose to come in without shoes. I'd prefer to have had some. Well, the assistant store manager, whose conduct was so pathetic and futile, and the way he treats his employees, sorry, slaves in his mind, was so cruel that I could hardly bear to look at him. A truly ignoble human being.
This man, as I just explained to you, mentioned something about the lack of shoes, and I need to get the heck out of there, now. He hardly engaged with my needs as a customer and human being, and would rather make money from others than money from someone who works hard in the Gospel of Perfection and in the fields of the hot sun.
I was mostly done after Jim's stellar conduct. After this "manager" "showed" me one small detail I had missed, I just walked away from him, got my lumber, thanked Jim, and paid. The cashier was nice too. You should quit this empty job if you're reading; they'll use you up and make you depressed.
Whether it's $0.50 or $5000, you should treat all people the same. Jim should be promoted. The assistant store 'manager' should be fired for his incompetence and inability to listen to what is actually being said. Jim, move on from this pathetic place. Have a...
