T.J. Maxx — Local services in Town of Queensbury

T.J. Max was my favorite store to shop. I loved the products (clothing and housewares) and the discounts were amazing. I was excited to find that they were going to reopen at another location. I assumed it was going to be at a bigger location. I assumed wrong. I went there Friday, the day after their reopening at the new location, and it was almost a nightmare shopping experience. Finding a parking space was almost impossible. I chalked it up to the fact that it was their grand reopening and everyone wanted to see it. But I also thought it was going to be hard to find parking during the holidays. Inside the store the wide aisles where you could take leisurely strolls while shopping were gone. You could barely fit yourself down an aisle much less push a cart ahead of you. People were bumping into each other left and right and jostling just to get in and out of an aisle. I looked to see where the exits were because, heaven forbid there was a fire in this place, people would have a tough time escaping. While I did manage to purchase 600.00 worth of items, it was no fun doing so and took me much longer to do than normal. I still love the high-end products and the pricing, but no longer consider TJ Maxx my favorite...

The woman manager that was working the morning of 9/21/19 needs to learn customer service. Cashier forgot to remove an alarm tag on one of my items today and instead of checking my bag first, the manager had ME walk through the doorway without my bag to make sure I wasn't stealing anything before even checking my bag!!!! I have never had someone basically accuse me of taking something before checking their mistake! Was very loud when handling the entire situation. Made me uncomfortable, even if it was only for 20 seconds. Overall just not happy with this managers obnoxious behavior. Even the voice on the alarm has better customer service than she did, it politely told me they forgot to remove the security tag....

They had a pretty good selection of items quite a bit on clearance. I typically stick to what I'm going in there 4 and a look for specialty items that are being moved along with the red tag then I feel like I get a better deal had been in retail long enough to know the markup and sometimes it's a good deal sometimes it isn't but there's always something good that you can find. I not only got what I was looking for which was super reasonable top of the line essentiall oils a 100% pure grade I also got a couple of scarves for the Spring that were half price probably from last season but who cares if it's your color observed color the...
