Commack South Shopping Center — Local services in Town of Smithtown

Commack South Shopping Center is one of a number of malls that if they closed I would not miss them. It is not that I have had an unpleasant experience here. It is simply a matter of the type of shopping I now do I at my age. I am old enough to be a mall walker, but I would rather have a lobotomy without anaesthesia. I like outdoor exercising, quality shops like Joseph A. Banks, and nothing like Lord and Taylor menswear which sells merchandise from China. I'm not even sure that store is at this mall, but it doesn't matter. Malls in North Carolina are more to my liking where merchandise is better quality and the shoppers and sales staff are conscientious and courteous. Still, I prefer stand...

The holidays pies are great go here because they have a great selection of food I don't mind traveling 30 minutes is okay. At one point this was a flagship location for the owners, since replaced by Country Pointe. I was here for Grand Opening many years ago, so you can imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw nothing had really changed. Many departments were still closed [eat &go etc], not much of a crowd. Compared to others store looked outdated and lacking amenities. A Dunkin just opened inside which will cut down bakery offerings. On whole, I would not make a trip to this location again.
