Beware!
I have been shopping at RH for years. When we heard this store was opening we were thinking it would be a great addition.
We visited the store and decided to purchase a bed. The bed was in fair condition but did not have matching nightstands. Melitta, a sales associate said look on the RH website for the matching nightstands.
Because of logistics we would need to return the next day to pick up the bed. When we arrived home two hours later we looked on the RH website for the nightstands. We found them but noticed the bed we just purchased that was in fair condition was only a few hundred dollars more for the same new version on the RH website.
We immediately called the store and Jeremy answered the phone. I briefly explained the situation. Jeremy said, he could not assist because he couldn’t authorize the transaction. He said Melitta is the store manager but she’s on brake. She will call you back.
Melitta called back and I explained the situation. I said, I did not leave the store with the product so please cancel the transaction. Melitta said you can speak with the assistant store manager, Jeremy please hold.
48 minutes passed on hold and nor Jeremy or Melitta came back on the call. A woman picked up the phone and I again explained the situation and she said I’m sorry I can not help you and I apologize that this has happened to you.
She said Melitta is not the manager and Jeremy is not the assistant manager. The managers name is Neil and the assistant is Anthony.
It’s a shame that RH has lowered their standards to hire staff that treats customers this way. If you plan on shopping at this outlet, expect to pay less and expect to be treated like you’re paying less.
Restoration Hardware does not treat customers like this, but how would the outlet staff know, they work at the outlet and don’t actually purchase RH...

Read moreThe staff is completely incompetent. We came from New Jersey to buy chairs. We called beforehand and asked if they had chairs in stock, if they were in good condition, and the current price. When we arrived, the entire store staff was completely unfriendly, and the chairs were priced DIFFERENTLY and terribly dirty. When we asked how two identical stores could have different prices for chairs, they were rude.
