This was the last stop my dad and I made on a Hampton's tour. I have this book called 111 things to do in the Hamptons you must not miss. So when I have a chance I've been driving out east to tour what's in the book. This is the oldest operating family run hardware store on LI. My dad and I met Charlie who was one of the employees featured in the book and he let us take a picture with him for instagram. I bought a Stanley. I was trying so hard not to get one but I finally caved. They had 30 oz ones for $40. I don't know if that was a good price or not but I got a nice green one. Love this store. The staff is super helpful and often I can find stuff there that may not be available in other local stores. Recently I needed a small thermos for my son’s camp lunch. After looking all over Southampton and finding just cheap plastic versions that don’t hold well either heat or gold, I finally found a high end product at Hedrick’s .
