Torrid — Local services in Town of Victor

Update* I went back to the store today and Carrie(store manager) listened to what happened and assured me she would take care of the issue. She also honored my original pricing and I was able to remake my purchase. Carrie is always so pleasant and helpful. That is part of the reason that the bad interaction with Courtney bothered me so much.

Horrible customer service. I came to tori with every intention on spending some of my six hundred and seventy five dollars worth of torrid cash only to be dismissed and disrespected to the point where I ended up returning everything. When I walked in the store, the associate named Courtney looked directly at me and did not even bother to say hello, hi or nothing. She did proceed to continue to greet othee people and ask if they needed help. Why was I the exception? Now I can understand that she was looking for a pickup order that another customer had requested. But how hard is it to just greet someone? Then when she saw I was clearly looking for a white sweater that was displayes up on the mannequin. She looked dead in my face twice and saw me looking for the sweater and completely ignored me, not saying I'll be right with you. Not offering to ask one of the other associates to look for it. Just completely ignored me. So I never found that sweater. I did find a different one in a different color and a few other items. When I went to the checkout, my mood was already not great, not positive because the poor service. She checks me out and then I end up saying this customer service is terrible under my breath. She replies with "what was that"? And I said you have piss poor customer service and you completely ignored me. Her response was "wasn't I helping another customer" and when I told her that she still managed to greer everyone else that came in after me while were helping that customer. Her response was "oh okay". So I left the store but after a few minutes I decided I'm not going about to spend my money somewhere that I'm being disrespected. So I went back in the store and returned the entire order because as much money as I spent at Torrid and specifically at this store, there is no reason for me to be disrespected like this. I've never been treated so poorly. I guess I'll be going to the one in marketplace...

I really love the store torrid it's in the eastview Mall close to Macy. Ford is a store that specializes in Big and tall is where for and women's wear. The lady staff that you work at the shop really truly of you in mind above and beyond to help you find the clothes of your dreams and the clothes that fit you the. I think the only is that some of the clothes is kind of on the expensive side but they do have loyalty programs and of course signature credit cards to help too. But you know us ladies that need Big and tall clothing it's just a little bit of us or sometimes. But with all that aside I absolutely suggest this store and I like their options in styles they are a much better for style clothing store than Lane Bryant but Lane Bryant has a place too for big call people. It was my first time going into a store location, I usually order online and went on to return some items that didn't fit. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone thinking about visiting a Torrid.

Positives: Staff is incredibly helpful and kind. No wait for a fitting room or check out and I went on a Saturday afternoon holiday weekend. Plenty of sizes of every item in stock and the store was clean and organized. Honestly probably the best retail experience I've had in a long time.

Negatives: None! My only gripe is that a lot of styles I was interested in online are not sold in-store. But that is not the fault of this specific location, and they will even order sizes online they do not have in stock so you can pick them...
