Re: Associate Margo, Macy's Customer Service desk
Date: Wednesday, June 22, 2022
Yesterday, June 22,2022, I went to Macy's Customer Service Desk to return an item that I had bought online. I had no receipt! As my refund involved more than $100.00, I nervously explained this to ASSOCIATE MARGO, and she immediately responded with a kind tone and a smile, NO PROBLEM, we will get your money back or a gift card. MARGO proceeded very calmly, yet efficiently, to search for my transaction in my credit card records, and to help me look in my email, looking and comparing sale number codes etc., with the outmost spontaneity, and skilled disposition.
I was limping from a bad knee, and very tired, and worried that I would lose the refund money. MARGO resolved the entire issue, navigating the records of my card and email, with genuine patience and kindness, which were evident in her tone and demeanor. All the while MARGO, alone at the desk, would periodically reassure other customers that they'd soon be helped, which created a calm feeling for all in her service. Thank you Margo for your kindness and help
Thank you Macy's, for acknowledging the importance of keeping associates that do a PEOPLE BUSISNESS, in a genuinly kind and respectful manner toward those of us that patron your stores. I ASSUME THAT THESE ASSOCIATES ARE BEING PAID APPROPRIATELY, WITH A GOOD SALARY.
**I love shopping at Macy's, where people are respectful, where I don't have to keep tons of receipts or coupons in a drawer Macy’s has it all covered in my credit card and in...

We hadn’t been to Macy’s in years, but thanks to Cadeena and Jen, we’re already planning our next visit — and only to this location.
We were shopping for my wife, just browsing and enjoying the moment, when Cadeena spotted us juggling a few items. With the kindest smile, she came over and immediately offered to take everything to the counter so we could shop freely. It was such a thoughtful gesture — simple, but it spoke volumes. She’s sharp, warm, and genuinely cares about the experience you’re having.
Then came Jen — oh, Jen 10, as we now call her! The moment we met her, it was like reconnecting with an old friend. We couldn’t stop laughing. She was quick, energetic, and made us feel completely at ease, like a big sister just vibing with us. So much so, we walked all the way across the store just to make sure she was the one helping us check out.
At the register, both Cadeena and Jen took service to another level — folding items with care, smiling through every moment, and turning a checkout line into a memory. My wife had an absolute blast. These two ladies made shopping feel fun again.
You don’t always get this kind of kindness and personality in retail. But these two? They’re what every store needs — professional, personable, and just full of light.
Macy’s, hold on tight to Cadeena and Jen — they’re not just employees, they’re...
Read moreCame from another state, ordered some clothes online and had to return them because of the fit. Walked in and looked for returns...no signs. Walked over to two sales ladies who as I stood there were in deep conversation. No specific place any register, one walked me to a register and took care of me. Okay, asked for the ladies clothes and she just said on the other side and off I went. Still expensive no wonder they are closing some stores. I bought a pair of pants I might have to return but 30% off. Different layout cause they're compacting but still trying to keep up. Okay that was almost a year ago, they are still trying to put on a new face. After shopping at Macy's for over 35 years I used to enjoy going there but, because of online ordering you can't try on. So, they are sprucing up for a younger look a more stylish store even though they were stylish back in the day. Again ordered items and had to go back and return them. If they took a shot at bringing back the clothes, filling up the depts, playing music of today they might get word of mouth where people want to go in the stores and try on clothes. The shoe dept is stunning with nice looking shoes, but more mature ladies aren't looking for stilettos or 4 inch wedges. Hire younger people with ideas, and as we all know The Thanksgiving Parade is always the best in starting the...
