I am writing this review with 5 stars ONLY because of Bill from the drill department. Bill was amazing and if anyone is looking to buy a drill and does not know where to start or how to use one please look for Bill.
Now when i came in to purchase a drill and a few other items i was going to use Apple Pay and pay with Affirm at the self checkout but i found out they didnât accept Apple Pay so i stepped to the side and asked the older lady working the self checkout to suspend my transaction while i decided what i was going to do. I asked her if I could order the items online and leave them with customer service and come back to get them and she told me no, because otherwise everyone would do it that way. I said ok. While i was deciding if i wanted to just pay for the drill out right or just wait and order it I decided to pay for the other items i had while i was trying to decide because i am a very indecisive person. I work hard and I have the money to pay for the drill but i like to shop responsibly so i was weighing my options before buying. I told a couple behind me they could go ahead and check out and the older woman walks up to me treating me like Iâm going to steal and takes the other products and starts scanning them on the self checkout register and stood there for me to pay for it and i was embarrassed. I went ahead and paid for it then walked away and stood along side a display while i decided if i would buy a drill from Home Depot or go somewhere else instead(comparing prices and my diff options). The older lady then walks up to me and says you know if you want you can apply for the Home Depot credit card and it will take $25 off the drill and you wouldnt have to go through what youâre going through right now. I just stared at her and said no, thank you and left. She made my whole experience very unpleasant and i would rather not deal with her when shopping there IF i decide to shop...
   Read moreWill not make big order here again roof material order shipment incomplete. Next order for gutter project even worst and lastly Customer Service is poor! Lack of communication. I ordered and paid for items that appeared in stock placed my order in store with a very helpful and kind sales associate. Once my delivery arrived, items from my order were missing. Decided to return the whole shipment couple days later, and since I didn't have all the items when I got to customer service, not one seem to be able to figure out how to receive items and proceed to refund me the total amount. Why?!! Because according to them(customer service) everything was delivered and I had no proof of items not being delivered. 3 hrs later after they were trying to count almost every single piece of material in my order (keep in mind this is for a pro member and this is a big order for gutters they're trying to count/scan 100 plus pieces one by one). Well turns out no one ever checked, that whoever was picking out my order, had left a NOTE in the computer on the list of items under my account. saying that there were items out stock. So that's why I didn't have received them all. Then 3.5 hrs later, I finally got my refund by like the 4th or 5th person that got involved. Home Depot Should've refunded for delivery fee as well because, I had to bring back their messy delivery, because I wasnt able to do project if I didn't have all the materials. And no one ever called to let me know that my delivery was gonna be incomplete or no one bodered to at least ask if I wanted to stop by and add materials for later date or to get refunded whatsoever. And lastly ended up paying a fee for them wasting my time.    Read moreFor corporate: I saw the Milwaukee special of free tool with battery purchase so since I was already there I spent about a total of 30 minutes of finding someone to not only open the tool cage but find the drill (he didn't know much about power tools so I helped you guys out and gave him some education), attempted to ring it up and not being sure why the price didn't match the app price, requested assistance from someone (possibly a supervisor) who just tracked down "the expert" who then was repeatedly told what to do by the person who tracked him down. We came to the conclusion that it had to be done online so before I left the store I ordered what I needed for store pick up and asked the most helpful person (wish I caught his name because he deserves credit) to please put everything back so when my order is picked it's available. So you had 4 employees involved, one kid searching for 20 minutes which I did most of the work and about 40 minutes of everyone's time wasted all so after I leave your employees could go back, select the products they just found and put away then put them in the locker for me to drive back a second time to pick up. "How Doers Get Done" Right?!! More like how the post office works. Oh and the Milwaukee drill batteries out of the package from mail order have been 0/2 with me.
