Dollar Tree — Local services in Travelers Rest

I went in there today to get some stuff and a balloon for my husband‘s eight month anniversary of his passing and went to check out ladies rolling her eyes while my daughter picked out a balloon nobody in line nobody near ready to check out then she checked every one dollar bill I give her $12 check every bill as if I just gave her $100 bill sat there for three minutes waiting for my change I got nothing but attitude and for going in and letting my daughter pick a balloon for her father to send off if it wasn’t already a hard enough days this lady made it harder And made me feel real shitty like I get having to check your Big bills and even occasionally some bills, but I work I get my money just like everybody else does so for her to sit there and take all that time to hold it up to the light for every dollar bill and set up giving me my change was ridiculous. Already asked me if I wanted to receive the sale never...

This seems to be a good time to go It's Wednesday about 2:15 store wasn't terribly busy was able to get in and get what I needed and get out.

No real changes since the last time I was here except of course the prices. I'm sure everyone knows they're now Dollar tree plus so most of the things you used to get for a dollar are now a dollar and a quarter.

I don't really mind the price increase to a dollar and a quarter but I do mind the quantities have been reduced like I used to get 20 Styrofoam cups for a dollar now I get 10 for a $1.00 and a quarter. So to get what I got before would be $2.50. It's pretty much a rip off now. I'll be much more careful shopping there I'm sure I won't...

I was really excited when we pulled up to the store because it was a 'Big' Dollar Tree. But when we got inside it was half empty shelves. I know with the pandemic things are always kinda low but there were boxes everywhere of stock that needed put on the shelf. Maybe they just got the truck in? Or they were just too busy or short handed? I'm not sure. I still give 5 stars because the girl at the register was really nice and other than the boxes everywhere, it was still clean. I also got almost everything and a few that weren't 😉 I will be going back to check...
