The two stars start off from the white heavy set male employee that was working the front counter area. He spoke to the people that walked in before us then didn’t greet us. Even after I walked over to the register area where he was at with a man selling items to Goodwill. The man said the the employee are they waiting for you he said no I don’t think so. Then they finished their conversation about what the man was selling and how he wanted a better deal, but the internet was available for the employee to pull up comparisons etc. (something along those lines). I was going to let him know when I was leaving, but there was another male employee at the register when I was leaving.
The bathrooms were nice and clean and smelled nice as well. They had a nice selection of items also.
Upon check out the female customer in front of me had her card ran a few times then had to pay cash for her purchase. When I was checking out the card machine kept declining the card just as it did to her. I suggested to the cashier to reboot the cars machine since I use this same one at my place of employment. After three or so more attempts he finally did it. Still no success. A small white female employee was called over she tried it then said go to register two we tried that a few times then another female black manager I believe came over and we tried register one a few times then she restarted the computer. That didn’t work either.
After about ten to fifteen plus minutes of troubleshooting and me patiently waiting along with other customers leaving it still didn’t work. I advised I do have cash but I really need it for something else. Hence the only reason I had cash on me was for another purpose. I wasn’t even even fifty percent off one item which is a daily thing there for a specific color tagged item. I wasn’t even given that for one item for my long wait then the inconvenience of having to use the cash I had for...
Read moreSo I went in. Not one person said hey or how are you. I find a big table I wanted to get for my son I obviously could not carry it around while finishing shopping(testing their products before buying them) nothing worked properly and the woman behind the counter I slid the table up and behind the edge of the counter to let her know I was buying it and she tells me if someone else wants it they have to give it to them instead. Again it's not an item I can put in my cart of carry around the store it's for my son and again I wouldn't have to test what's on the shelves if you all did that before setting stuff on the shelves. Needless to say I felt like I was treated poorly so I just left. You guys need to check lamps and electrical stuff period that's stealing from people and if they're at a goodwill I can't imagine they have money to just waste. Secondly if you are going to be in customer service maybe be kind. I also heard the cashier talking poorly about me to another customer as I was walking out. I won't return. Thanks for a terrible experience. I have no faith in...
Read moreRude cashier. Usually have had no issue here but I am kindly not going to be coming back. Cashier made it a point to hassle me to make sure that she got out of there at 6p.m. yes I know you close at 6. You dont need to ride me at every 3 to 4 minute interval. It really rubbed me the wrong way. I should have got her name white girl heavy set and blond. Probably 25.. anyway good enough excuse for me to never return. Good luck with your goodwill store. Probably good riddance to me as well being that I come in later all the time, and I would hate to interfere by being too close to that precious store closing time. If they did that to people at restaurants they would be, and probably are closed as a result..as my work doesnt let me out early I cant make it until a specific time... However I am perfectly happy not spending my money here and it has been a sunday ritual of mine for quite some time. Time to find better things to do then getting hassled about how much time is left. Too bad because this location would get...
