The condos are nice but the people are HORRIBLE. My daughter's family from Tennessee stayed here. We live in Orlando so we made the drive to see them. From the very first second we pulled into the parking lot, I knew it would be a problem. We parked in the visitor parking lot and was waiting on my mother in law to respond to a text to tell us which unit she was in and there was an old man with his hands on his hips glaring at us the whole time. We got the unit number & pulled into the assigned parking spot. 5 minutes later the same old man, named Mickey came down to the condo and told us that we couldn't park in the assigned parking spot since we were visitors of the primary guests and told us we would need a parking permit to park in the visitor spot. No problem, I moved my car and followed this man to his apartment to get a parking pass. For the rest of the day we continued to get glares, dirty looks, and disrespectful comments from people. You could tell who the permanent residents were just by the way they looked at you. We stayed for a few hours then went back to our hotel for the night. We came back the next morning to spend an hour with the kids before going home to Orlando & parked in the visitor parking spot again. The same man confronts me 10 minutes later as I am waiting on my mother in law to return to the condo and he immediately says "we have a problem, your parking pass was for the 31st and today is the 1st" he threatens to tow my car and I told him there was no need for that, I just needed a new parking pass and was waiting on my in-law to return. When they get there mickey continues to threaten to tow my car and was just making everything extremely difficult instead of just writing up a new pass. I explained to him I had only been there for 10 minutes and there is not an office, how am I supposed to know where to go or who to ask for a new pass. This man would NOT STOP harassing us instead of being reasonable and finding a solution. We eventually just decided to leave because it was so ridiculous and ruined our day i do not recommend this place unless you have it in good with the permanent residents. They obviously do not like outsiders, will make that very clear, & will make you feel very uncomftable, & completely unwelcome. Mickey creates unnecessary drama, will completely ruin your vacation atmosphere, and will make your life difficult just to appease...
Read moreSunset Cove was the best place ever. If you are looking for a Quiet, friendly, relaxed, convenient place then Sunset Cove is it. Everything to hand with the beach right across the street and the waterway at the back of the complex. We had two weeks there and wish we could have stayed longer. Our walks on the beach watching the Dolphins and jumping fish were magical, with a stop at Caddies for coffee and a meal if required ticked the box. John's Pass just a few miles up the road and ideal place to stop for a while. A trolley bus to Clearwater from St Petersburg a convenient mode of transportation if you want a change from the car can be caught at the end of the street and...
