This “venue” was way too small and just not worth it in general for the amount of money paid. We were pushed to pay for a parking attendant who was apparently very rude to guests and did not direct well at all. Only one guest used his services and we were not refunded for that even after asking. Craig, the owner, was absolutely the rudest person I have met. We came back to get my brother in law’s sunglasses that he left on the sand behind the Lion’s Club and Craig walked out and told us to leave. We explained to him we had gotten married there the night before and we’re getting his sunglasses, and he said “yea I do not care at all. That means nothing to me. Leave. Now. “ You would think after paying over $2,000 we would have some sort of manners used towards us and help, but no he was rude and literally ran us off. The day of the wedding, he also creeped out my bridesmaids by STARING them down the entire time they were in the premises. Overall this was a terrible experience, and I did not appreciate Craig, his words, and his actions at all. I do not recommend him or this...

Firstly, the air filter in our bridal dressing room was dirty, and there were men's underwear left in the suite. Additionally, there were no paper towels provided, and the toilet paper was limited.

During our reception, the AC in the hall was broken, and unfortunately, the property manager was absent and unable to be found to address the issue. As a result, our guests left early due to the heat, which ruined our day. I was sweating more inside than outside, and it was highly uncomfortable.

Craig, the property manager, was very abrasive towards me, the bride of the day, and my coordinator, who happens to be a dear childhood friend multiple. Craig was rude to multiple times, and even when he unknowingly attempted to apologize, he was still unpleasant.

Overall, I am highly disappointed and upset that my special day was practically ruined due to these issues. I hope that you take these concerns seriously and implement changes to ensure that future guests do not have to deal with...

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that was here and I am a florist who normally does about a hundred and fifty weddings a year so I see a lot of venues. This is outside of my delivery area. I really liked the venue I thought it was perfect for about 40 to 80 people. The beach access for the wedding was wonderful as well as area for the girls get ready. Kitchen was good would be great to cook your own food or for caterer to use. Round tables are 60 inch rounds with the legs are little awkward on them. Really is best to seat tables of 6 or seven 8 was awkward with the table leg situation don't even think about trying to seat 10 at a table. The guy Craig who has a contact with super responsive with any questions we had and any help we needed. I will completely and totally recommend this place if you're having a wedding or event I was...

We got married at the Lion’s Club last month and it was great. The private beach behind the beach house was perfect for our ceremony. Craig was extremely helpful and informative. We were even able to get into the beach house the night before to start setting up since it was not rented that day. A couple of days before the wedding, Craig called to make sure that we were all set and had everything we needed. After our event, he called me to make sure all went well and let me know that the place looked great. We appreciate the Lion’s Club and would recommend using this facility for any event!

I would have given it 5 stars if they could have gotten the entire beach for the ceremony. We went for Memorial Day weekend for a wedding and the beach was packed. So when the couple exchanged vows you could see tents/people in the background. So I would suggest if ever you want to use this place for your wedding...maybe pick off season dates so it's less likely you have people on the beach.
