Absolutely delightful weekend at The Roth Hotel! This gem is tucked away in the quiet neighborhoods of Treasure Island, a stone's throw from the beach. We went for a girls' weekend and stayed in Room #6. The room was spacious, extremely clean, had sheets and blankets that were SO COMFORTABLE (how often do you find that?), and the appliances and furniture were new and modern. Our room was directly connected to the back patio where we spent every morning drinking coffee and watching the dolphins. I could not take a good enough photo to capture the tranquility and calm of that amazing patio/dock. The pool itself was a good size and went all the way up to 6 feet. The pool furniture was brand new and wasn't those plastic, flimsy chairs that you so often find at hotels. The location also cannot be beat. Publix and 7-Eleven are both a less than 5-minute drive and a bevy of restaurants are less than 10 minutes away by car or Uber. The sign of a great stay is if you want to be return and we will definitely be back!

We just had THE BEST weekend staying at The Roth! It was our first visit and it will definitely not be our last! Our friends were able to keep their boat on the dock so it made it so easy to go out and enjoy the water all weekend. I local ramp is only a couple of blocks away for easy in/out of the boat. The rooms were perfect! Super clean, beautiful original terrazzo floors, comfortable bedding and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The grounds were beautiful with tropical foliage, a refreshing pool and comfortable tables and chairs overlooking Blind Pass. Just a short walk of 2 blocks and you are on one of the most beautiful beaches with clear waters and soft white sand. Perfectly located in Sunset Key away from the hustle and bustle of Treasure Island yet close enough for just a short drive (or Free Beach Taxi) to many great restaurants and bars. Super nice people have put their heart and soul into this little treasure…..you must see this place for yourself!

We have been coming to Treasure Island for many years. We used to stay closer to the John's Pass side of the island, which is more commercial. Then we discovered the Delacado, which is now, under the new management is called The Roth Hotel. What a jewel of a place! The new owners completely remodeled all of the units, including floring, kitchens, all of the furniture and bedding. All of the amenities are new and functional. The outside has also been updated to include all of the modern comfort features. The place is kept spotless clean and the staff are always courteous and accommodating. We continue to come and enjoy it even more, since we had kids. We have referred many of our friends and family, and all are thankful for great location and accommodations. Truly a hidden treasure of Treasure Island and the Sunset Beach. Keep up the great job!!!

what can i say. this place rocks...super close and convenient location to the beach. Its a hidden gem i almost feel like i shouldn't mention so i can keep all to myself. Beaches are semi private feeling, quiet and have a cool shell collection. The room itself felt cozy and cottage like feeling. Not a huge room but it was just enough to feel comfortable, newly renovated. No smells at all, the bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Best sleep in weeks. Room air was cold with a min-split system and wasn't regulated to only go low to so far which was nice. Cold as you want it. Room was clean, bathroom was small but again, you don't need much because who wants to hang out in a hotel room all day anyways when this location was perfect. Had a retro fridge which i thought was pretty cool. Microwave, kitchenette area and although closet was limited to a few hanging items and storage is limited, it was enough for us. Access to room i liked, Keyless system with digital lock codes so was easy to remember and didn't have to worry bout losing or carrying keys. TV worked for us, if you have a HULU or other streaming service you can log into your account from here. Internet worked great and had no issues. The back of the hotel has a water bay inlet side, gorgeous deck area and you can fish off of it. The beach was literally like 1000 feet walking distance. Quaint little area , well protected by security and local PD. You can tell they don't mess around and don't let riff raff in the area. Parking was good, you need a pass which they will assign to you at hotel. If not they will ticket you but I am okay with that since no one can just park anywhere and causes more congestion at the secluded beach. Its close to all kinds or restaurants and things to do as well, Local bars with live music but also quiet at night. Staff was very accommodating . Front desk staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Even the owner engages with guests so i feel special and had a very personal experience. At one point, I was sick and almost wasn't able to make it and explained my situation. They went out of their way to assist and help and were very accommodating if i had to reschedule. My recommendation is book directly through hotel. Booking.com and others have a strict no or limited refund policy. Thanks goes out to Craig and his staff for making this a special weekend for me and my fianc'e. I proposed on the property out back, right before a storm rolled in! had a great weekend and definitely will be back again. Only recommendation I have would be maybe better directions to main office got a little lost finding it in the back. Also, maybe some morning coffee or Danish stations, at least on weekends. Also checkout time was 10 a.m would be nice to at least be 11, but they seemed accommodating in special circumstance so i appreciate that. had a a great...

My wife and I stayed at The Roth Hotel this weekend and we will surely be back again soon, and often! We came to learn that the hotel used to be called the Delacado and was recently purchased and renovated. The location is perfect, nestled along the inlet waters of Sunset Beach. From the serene mornings to the breathless evening views, this place delivers the relaxing vacation destination you dream about. The remodel is spectacular. The rooms are spacious, each with a full kitchen done in the cutest art-deco style. The rooms are so comfortable and inviting, with soft, pastel colors providing a clean and bright ambiance with the most delightful "beachy" feel. The mattresses and bedding are first rate, providing the most comfortable and sound sleep you will ever experience at a hotel. We found the hotel to be impeccably clean and well appointed with amenities (large grill area, ample high-quality outdoor seating, refreshingly clean (and heated) pool, boat dock that leads right out to the Gulf, and some nice shady getaway spots to avoid the sun when you need to). An added bonus is immediate access to a boardwalk that wraps around the point at Sunset Beach, which made for a lovely morning walk. And of course, the beach is right across the street. While intimate and cozy, with its 14 rooms this hotel would also make a wonderful choice for a family gathering or small group celebration. I must also say that we had the pleasure of meeting the new proprietor, Craig. This is a young man that understands hospitality - we were greeted with a warm and affable smile, and he went out of his way to make sure that all of our needs were met from check-in to check-out. He is genuine and good-natured, and made us feel like we were the most important people in the world (I actually believe we were!). He appreciated our choice of hotel and let us know it. What more can I say? This is a special place...

If we could give it 10 stars we would. We were blessed enough to have the opportunity to stay here for a few days while visiting friends. It's a vintage Florida style hotel that has been totally renovated. Our room was well stocked in the kitchen with all of the essentials. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. I loved the make up wash cloths. Just a great touch. We stayed in room #6 and it was clean, well decorated, and met all of our needs. We loved the colors and the king bed slept great. And, I never sleep well away from home. The staff: Craig, the GM, Chris, the Front Manager, and Robert, the Maintenance Manager; were friendly, willing to help in any way, and they were helpful regarding the area, restaurants, and things to do. It's locally owned and not a chain hotel. They care about your stay and want you to have a fabulous experience. We loved sitting in the outside chairs late in the afternoon while enjoying the intercostal waterway. We were able to watch the fish feed at night from the dock. We could see the dolphins from the dock. It's a great place to fish from the dock. We saw snooker and red fish. With the dock, you could easily arrange for a fishing guide and experience in shore fishing. Lots of possibilities. The walk to the beach was just 5 minutes. And we enjoyed looking for shells. The pool is very clean and has plenty of chairs. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to all of...
