AMAZING food, but inexcusably bad service. Waiter completely ignored me in an almost empty restaurant. Took 45 minutes and three requests before even getting a glass of water. I went in recently for lunch, there were only two tables already seated (one got food shortly after I was seated, other table had just ordered). I was seated and basically ignored until I flagged down the waiter after 15 minutes. Ordered a coffee, croissant and galette, and asked for a glass of water. It took the waiter FORTY FIVE MINUTES before he brought me a glass of water, and this was after me waving him down TWICE more to repeat my request. When the coffee was finally brought out, he didn't bring the croissant. It was another 30 minutes before the galette and croissant came out. They did appear to have several takeout orders go out, so I understand if the kitchen was backed up and I was in the back of the queue, but at least bring me my croissant so I could enjoy it with the coffee? Especially if youve already made me wait FORTY FIVE MINUTES to get a glass of water? When the food finally came the galette was AMAZING, really top notch. And the coffee was great. But there's no excuse for ignoring a customer, making them wait nearly an hour and have to ask three times before they get a glass of water, and not even offer any sort of apology. And this wasn't an 'understaffing' issue, there were only two other tables, and most of the 120 minutes it took me to get my crepe and croissant, the waiter was standing there at the register looking around bored. The entire time I dont think he even spoke to me, just nodded or walked away. It's a shame, i really liked the food and live nearby, would love to come back here regularly. But not if thats their...

Rude. The second I walked in they turned me away. There were tables available and they weren't closing for over an hour but the hostess refused to seat me and my family. No one was waiting. Won't bother going again and I wont be suggesting it to my customers either. I don't like to assume people are racist but sometimes it's hard when there's no logical reason to be turned away.

In reference to restaurant's response: Regardless of your reason for turning my family away, how do you think I takes me feel to open the door and immediately be turned away with no explanation when you were still open and there was plenty of room. If you didn't have food or staffing then you should have put up your closed sign. I work in customer service, I would never turn a customer away especially without an explanation and apology. I was considering removing this review and giving you another chance but will definitely not now. And will continue to suggest customer's go to other restaurants in the area as you clearly don't treat yours they...

  1. It’s so sad that a few Americans have bought into hate mongering of the black slave/culture/race reparations. I am both Jewish and Native American. If anyone has a right to racist hate mongering it would be my ancestors for genocide, but we don’t. Both my ancestors were slaves in the US and worked hard and I don’t ask for special accommodations because of this. We need to heal not hurt each other.
  2. My apologies for my fellow ignorant Americans that expect fast food McDonald’s type of SAD diet food at your establishment. I doubt they comprehend the European style of eating healthy and not rushed. As an American I feel embarrassed and saddened by our overall lack of knowledge and compassion for healing both body and soul. Maybe put up a glaringly large sign “This is authentic French and not American cuisine which is not served fast, but rather healthy French food enjoyed in the healthy European style of eating slowly. If you are in a hurry and can’t wait please...

The business took over from another restaurant. There is no changes, even the tables and chairs are the same. The coffee is considered good, but for the special marquise coffee, it costs more, but give you less (the black mug). The french crepe is very french, thin and crunchy. I wish it come with some fruit for the price they charge to make it a complete breakfast. It is not very expensive, but also not cheap. The croissant and baguette have good texture, but not made in-house, is from another bakery. There are two others well known places not too far, not sure if they are able to compete. Update: 8/23/21 Back here for dinner, besides the pasta dish, all others are great. Especially the coffee. Friendly service and up one star from previous review. Update: March 2025 New location and change to coffee shop style. Order and pay at the counter. The quality of bakery items are still the same.

This charming and authentic cafe is the perfect place to meet friends for Brunch, treat yourself to a chill setting where you can read, and enjoy a fresh baguette with salmon, brie and avocado ( the Norwegian ) and not feel rushed. The cafe displays art for sale by local artists , bijoux ( handmade jewelry by a local french artist) and, on Saturdays LIVE french pop music sung by Fiona Frensche from 10- noon. If you want an authentic French experience, this place is it. Owner and chef, Stéphane is happy to speak French with you and she won't hesitate to correct your Faux pas. It's not unusual to hear her joining in on Saturdays to sing les Champs Élysées! Servers Meagan and Mary are friendly, pleasant and will help you with recommendations. Bon dégustation !

What a lovely experience, I felt like I was in France! Lovely laid-back service, other patrons softly speaking in French, proper buttery fluffy croissants, and several authentic French food items on the menu that I haven't seen anywhere else. This isn't a fast food spot however, but more of a place to come to linger to have great conversation, coffee, and hearty food. You are even rewarded with a sliver of water views if sitting by the front window/door. They also have some delicious pastries to grab and go by the front register, including French mini cinnamon rolls and chocolate-filled rolled-up croissants pastries. What a lovely Sat. morning we had, will definitely be coming back!
