Adventure Cruise Inc — Local services in Treasure Island

The dolphins were cool, shell island was fun, the captain was nice. But… while we were boarding the boat from the island there were waves crashing onto the beach - my mother and daughter went ahead of me so I couldn’t see what was happening at the time - by the look on the captains faces assisting us on the boat I could tell they knew something was definitely going wrong. As my daughter was being told to board the boat the waves were bouncing the boat around like crazy. Instead of waiting a minute and letting things calm down my daughter was told to step on the second step - she kept hesitating due to the fact that she was getting her foot crushed by the boat/ladder without my knowledge. Although, the waves were out of their control they should have played it safe and had us wait to board rather than hurrying us back onto the boat.

The moral of the story is I can’t imagine the “captain” (with this company of 10 years, per google) not knowing how unsafe that situation was. Definitely poor customer service all the way around in this situation. Pictures do not do justice. Thankfully...

At nearly half the cost of sunsports cruises (next resort down) you cant go wrong with Captain Steve and Ian. Captain Steve was making jokes and very personable Captain Ian was nice enough to let my stand near the front of boat. When crew members spotted Dolphins Captain Steve immediately stopped to head towards the dolphins... so while, they don't guarantee you will see dolphins, ( these guys find dolphins for a living to make people happy😊🐬) so chances are, you will! They are very skilled at that. When we stopped at the island to swim in search for Shells... 2 manatees approached me! So exciting (captain Steve pointing that out to me) Also if you're looking for a party boat, look elsewhere, only water and soda are sold on this boat. I was curious of how come the other Cruise seem to have people drunk and screaming... well its because most others do sale alchohol. This is a perfect cruise for those who dont drink, maybe even...

Wonderful experience!! Captains Ian and Steve were great and friendly! They worked hard to make sure our family and the other families had a great experience. We looked for awhile to find dolphins and when we found them, they partnered with another boat to create a wake that would cause the dolphins to jump and play. We got quite a show!! Great experience and pretty reasonably priced as well considering the cost of some of the other water options by other companies. I will also say that we were supposed to do the snorkel cruise a different day and in good conscious, they just couldn’t do it because they knew the experience wouldn’t be great due to rough water.
