I have received a text message on 5/12/2023 from sales person # Estee lauder department macy's store at somerset mall By the name Fayroz So I went to macy's Same day 5pm So I saw the sales person Fayroz and I said to her thank you for your text message for special sale today I wasn't even finished And suddenly some Estee lauder manager came to me to say to me In rude way saying is something wrong ? I said to her nothing wrong Then , I smiled at the manager face and i said to her I wish you to have a happy mothers day. And suddenly turned around and walked away very strange. Then Fayroz she said to me I could help you again. In 1 minute The manager again from a 10 feet away she said loudly with high Loudly voice to Fayroz (take care of customer) I looked at her I said to my self that is very unprofessional I am standing here came to buy merchandise I am a customer here I drove to macy's to purchase Estee lauder product on sale AT THE SAME MOMENT There was a black lady standing next to me Fayroz was helping her earlier The black lady said to me Fayroz could help me for purchase and The black lady said to me and to Fayroz what's wrong with Estee lauder manager raising her voice for no reason. She said that's very wrong And It felt like been treated like kids school. It was very disrespectful and shocking moment to me and to the black girl next to me of manager action plus the statement this is Very unprofessional and rude Very disrespectful to clients I felt like a child in the front of a teacher By the way I am 70 years of age And I am Businessman owner of investment company in Oakland County So a i walked away Without purchasing anything. I met this beautiful lady two or three years ago when I came to Detroit to visit my son and daughter-in-law. Since that visit, she has stayed in touch with me and every time there's a wonderful sale or gift she reaches out. She never forgets me! She has a fantastic memory and she always asks me about moisturizers she knows that I use and products she thinks I will like. I trust her judgment completely!! Fairouz provides an incredible level of "concierge service" to her customers and I know you are very fortunate to employee her! I live in the Charlotte North Carolina area, which is 500 miles from your store and there are quite a few upscale department stores around me, but the level of service Fairouz provides to me is unmatched! I don't buy these products from the two Macy's in my area because I'm loyal to Fairouz and your store! She's always so sweet to add in any little gifts or discounts that are available to me and I appreciate it so much! There's only been one issue that I've had with her -- tonite I was trying to complete an order with her over the phone and her attention was drawn to another customer that had walked through. I told her it was fine if she needed to help that customer but she said No, we were already involved in ringing up my purchases. She always makes me feel like a priority! I hope this did not result in her being admonished because she is just the highest level employee I'm sure you're fortunate enough to have in your company. The person that initially handled me at the register was named Leslie was rude, dismissive and outright nasty. She acted like she didn't want to handle my transaction. All I wanted to do was get some help locating the shapewear to exchange. I needed to try on the shapewear because the one I ordered online was just a little bit to small. Leslie was dismissive about the fact that I needed to try on the undergarment. She made a remark "all this for a bra" first it wasn't a bra !! She argued with me and my daughter because we had previously been to Oakland Mall Macy's but they didn't have the size that I was looking for. So the young man at Oakland Mall Macy's had printed out the sku number for us, so that when we went to Somerset Macy's they wouldn't have a problem with pulling up the shapewear garment that I was looking for. Leslie proceeded to argue with us that the printout wasn't right and she don't know how they do things at Oakland Mall Macy's but we don't do it that way here. She was condescending and just plain rude. So she threw my shapewear garment down on the counter and threw her hands up and told another salesperson to handle my transaction and walked off. So another young lady by the name of Farhaa walked up and completed my transaction. Farhaa was so pleasant, professional and polite. Thank You Farhaa. If I misspelled your name Farhaa please accept my apology. Thank You Nicole for the garment bag that you gave to me.
