Late post but I had never been to a kid's play attraction grand opening Before until last sunday....if you have little ones up to like 10-12yrs old, u must go and check out Catch Air Tucker (in same plaza as Goodwill and Jason deli and our fav spot to eat KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot ) ...it was amazing, not over crowded, perfect size ...toddler area is right next to the Big kid area but if u got a little one u want to keep up with like we do then get ready for a workout bc You Will be going inside all the attractions with them, we Will definitely make this a monthly visit and can't wait until they have memberships available soon ...
Pros: great location and size, colorful attractions for all ages, prices are $13-$20 for 2& up, 1 yr old free with sibling, every family has an unique hand stamp that Will be checked to make sure parents are leaving with the right child Before they unlock gate for You to exit, friendly staff, always cleaning the whole Time, everyone has to wear socks and take off their shoes(Even parents) and make sure it's grip socks because have some slick áreas..also you can leave and come back later in day just show ur stamp again and the Best part as an parent... 1 free parent entry per paid child and only $5.99 each for extra adults( I used to hate going to other places and they want parents to pay same price as kids just to watch their kids have fun..smh)
Cons: Even though the bathroom was Nice and clean, as having an Autistic son, we didnt like the fact that the hand dryer for your hands is builded into the faucet, should be separate or at least at some paper towels inside bathroom as other option to dry your hands
The large pizza for $12.99 is not a pizza place type of large it's more like a medium size but was good and worked for what we needed at Time(food for kids to eat while we ate at Kpot afterwards)
Don't assume a child age just by looking at them bc got overcharged bc they assumed my youngest was already 3 and he is not so had to get a refund or put it towards the snack bar área crédit.
Nevertheless, both kids had a bowl on our family Day outing after church and then hubby and I got to...
Read moreWe recently hosted a birthday party at the Catch Air LaVista location, and unfortunately, it was far from what we expected — especially for the price. First, the party room was only available for 40 minutes, which is nowhere near enough time for a proper celebration. We felt rushed the entire time, and staff were clearly eager to move us out for the next group. There was no opportunity to relax, enjoy the moment, or let the kids settle in with food and cake. Adding to the frustration, they misspelled my child’s name on the birthday screen and when asked to correct the spelling we were told couldn’t be fixed because it was a “corporate issue.” For a children’s birthday venue, you'd expect more attention to such basic and meaningful details. The half of the food arrived late because the kitchen was “backed up.” And our juice boxes never came, we had to ask for them. Staff admitted they had overbooked, they have only three party rooms but somehow 17 parties that day. It’s clear they prioritize quantity over quality, and the experience suffers for it. To make matters worse, the manager repeatedly came into our room to ask for food and cake, it’s one thing if we offer but it’s in extremely poor taste and unprofessional to ask. I was appalled. We understand schedules are tight, but this felt intrusive and inappropriate. It's one thing for hosts to offer updates; it’s another for staff to come in and pressure us during our limited time. Overall, this location seems to be operating beyond capacity without the infrastructure or customer service to support it. We won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a good birthday experience.
Pictures below are the 3 party rooms (limited space), and how they placed our food. The sandwiches we ordered came much later with no accommodation or adjustments to our time in the party and we had to ask for the...
Read moreAmazing! Not only is it a lot of fun for the kids, but it's so clean! The staff seems to be constantly cleaning. They have great sitting space for adults even areas with outlets. I could have totally brought my laptop to get some work done had I known. We came in on a Thursday late afternoon, there was a good size crowd, but not crowded. I imagine weekends might be a little insane. The music volume is great too. Feels like a lot of these places keep the volume up so high and it becomes stressful with the children's volume mixed in. Food - while I wasn't planning on buying food here, the toddler decided he was starving. Luckily we can when they were rubbing a promo for $1 personal pizza for kids so it worked out. And the pizza wasn't too shabby, nothing gourmet. But for a place like this, it was decent. They also have a wide selection of snacks, coffee, and other eats for a fair price. Price - reasonable for the area. And adults are free (or included) so that's nice, it feels less price gaugey. But if you don't want to eat here, there's plenty of restaurants around to choose from. They do birthday parties as well and with a summer baby, this sounds like a great option. Not having compared party rates, not sure how they measure up here. The staff is VERY friendly. They clearly enjoy their job here. Parking- it's in a shopping center, so plenty of parking.
Overall, highly recommend. Thanks to my neighbor for checking it out first and telling us we HAD to come check it out for ourselves! We will definitely be...
