St. Gianna Oratory — Local services in Tucson

Beautiful parish in Tucson. We travel 3 hours to attend and absolutely love it. This Latin Mass is in full communion with the pope. There are very many large families with small children and the cry room is very equipped for them. I can honestly say that the parishioners are the friendliest, most genuine Catholics I have ever met.

I recently moved to Tucson hoping there was a Traditional Latin Mass offered in this city and thankfully, there is! Daily Mass is celebrated at St. Gianna Oratory and 3 masses on Sundays. There are missals available for us to follow along during mass. It’s a beautiful, welcoming parish with many activities for families and those who’d like to be involved. My husband and I are snowbirds and "trads" so we were so blessed and delighted to find St Gianna! We assisted at daily Mass as often as possible, and of course the High Mass on Sundays/feast days . Best of all was Holy Week with the pre 1955 liturgy! We also participated in several potlucks, church cleanings/decorating and other activities and were always warmly welcomed. We will miss Canon Fehrenbacher and the good people of St Gianna and hope to return...
