Lately, Iâve been spending a lot of time indoors and engaging in self care because itâs too damn hot outside. Yes, I know we live in the desert. Yes, I should be used to this by now. But the only time I leave is to engage in this nightmarish hellscape called modern society to make my monopoly moneys and to socialize with a few non-NPCs. You would think the night would be a somewhat reasonable time to be active and walk around and have fun with others, but since we live in a Twilight Zone episode where the lizard people activate 90 degree moon weather to make us irritable and insane, Iâve very much limited my nocturnal escapades because Iâm already drenched in sweat after 5 minutes of just breathing. So this extra time inside has me setting the AC to 69 degrees because I just laught through the pain when I see the electric bill for $800. It reminds me of the covid era where we had to all discover new ways to eleviate boredom. Netflix documentaries, learning how to make sourdough bread, mastering Fortnite online, starting an Onlyfans to monetize that weird growth you have on your back, and getting into weird conspiracy theories like how the Denver Airport is a portal to hell or how birds are really surveillance drones. Most of my time has been spent doing all of the above and then going down Youtube rabbitholes and obscure online discords and forums where somehow, someway I found myself talking to alleged hot chicks into goth stuff and tarot and natural remedies. You know. My fake online identity and avatar photo was half photoshop and half AI generated where I had hippie dreads, ear gauges and neon colored clothing and sanskrit, buddha and potleaf tattoos.
I was stretching the truth as much as I was stretching my earlobes but I got caught up in the dopamine rush of being accepted into this aura enhancing circle with no clear endgame in sight. If I was going to end up meeting one of these babes, weâd both be running the catfish risk. So to play it safe, I decided I needed to steep myself into some of this lifestyle authenticity. And if it resonated, I would transform myself into my imagined self, Bodhi Zarauthustra, and start a new life in Sedona with a haram of hot spiritual babes. I scowered the local googles using keywords like spiritual, witchy, tarot, incense, natural herbal remedies and picked a gold nugget out of the few places that popped up. Monsoon Mystics Apothecary and Mercantile. A small business and metaphysical supply shop here in town! I came through the doors a blank canvas and immediately my entire being was taken asunder with posi vibes and magical mystical mystery musk.
The whole place was impressive- botanica, ritual tools and books, sage, tarot, jewelry, reiki books, gemstones, minerals, crystals, herbs and oils, candles, vintage clothing racks, tea and most importantly I noticed the Mystica Matica, the worldâs only metaphysical, magic vending machine.
Then to the right I saw the aura energy analysis photo booth where a lady was having her âauraâ snapshotted by a shop specialist. I listened as she was told something about her aura field and what the colors in her portrait meant in her life. I shuffled over like a stupid muggle and quickly said âyooooo, iâm next, I GOTTA aura farm up in hereâ. The specialist tried her best to not berate me and kept a professional attitude and said âiâm going to finish her reading and you can be nextâ. I laughed and started dancing in place to sponge up as much aura as I could. When I was up, she had me sit down and bring forth my authentic energy for the photo. I put my hand up to my face and gave my best R&B album pose and then she started analyzing my aura. She looked confused and said âiâve never seen this color before. Iâm not sure if this is good or badâŚlots of darkness. Maybe we should take anâ-â âAre you sayinâ Iâm off the charts! AYOOO!â I put on my sunglasses and walked out knowing I was ready for my spiritual journey. Highly recommend this...
