We contracted with Beauty Crete to install a new porch/patio & decided on a stamped concrete with a taupe colored stain. We were surprised when we were told that the concrete was coming in mid-afternoon on the day that they poured, but figured they knew how long it would take to get things done. When the truck did not arrive as scheduled, we were told by one of the crew that they were waiting on someone to bring the color for the stain, so it was late afternoon by the time it arrived. When the concrete truck arrived, we were shocked that they directed the heavy truck to back all the way down our driveway instead of shuttling concrete from the street, but in hindsight, they were probably just trying to save time. Since they got a late start, they were hurrying, and still working as it was getting dark. At one point, my husband realized that they were actually using their CELL phones to shine light on the concrete, so he set up some work lights outside so they could finish the job. A few days later, we realized that the color wasn't looking like the color we chose and I noticed that the empty bags in our trash did not match the brand or color we had selected. When I asked about it, Wes, the owner came out and looked at it and assured me that even though it was a different brand, it was the same color and that it would take about 30 days to cure and develop the final color. In the end, the color did not change, so instead of a taupe, we have concrete the color of brown mud. There are several low spots where water stands and leaves white calcium deposits, and two cracks developed within the first 9 months. One of the cracks was sealed by Beauty-Crete but it has since gotten bigger. The response to our complaint was that it's concrete, it's going to crack... If you're thinking about using this company, just realize that they will likely cut corners and you may not get what you paid for. I would not recommend this...
Read moreAbsolute worst company ever! The salesman Scott was nice and with promises of a 10yr warranty and boasts of decades in business, we felt good about hiring them to coat our pool deck. Everything was going well until their crew made a huge mistake and did not smooth out the texture finish on our coping creating a very ugly edge on our pool.(see pic) We notified Scott, He was very apologetic and we were assured they would fix it. They sent the crew back out with some sort of grinder to try and grind the texture down. I express concern about them damaging our pool tile so the owner Wes calls me and basically says I’m an idiot for thinking they would damage our tiles because that would result in them having to pay to replace them. Well lo and behold they damage the tile all around the pool (see pic) so another call with Wes happens. He was an absolute jerk to us over the phone and cussed us out for no reason. All of this because HIS crew made a huge mistake. He finally agrees to give us a discount on the job, which still cost us thousands of dollars but we agree just to be done with it. Fast forward a year and the coating was already chipping off, they gave us paint to touch it up ourselves. I did that the first year but it’s only deteriorated more and more in just the 2 years we have had it(see pics) We tried contacting them for the warranty in which Wes called my husband and said “here is my competitors number, see if he will fix it for you” laughed and hung up. After going back and looking at other google reviews it seems they are fake, check Yelp and others and you will find their real ratings with tons of bad reviews. This company is awful, product is awful and won’t last long plus the warranty is a joke. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake before you waste thousands of dollars with...
Read moreWhen we were building our home we were told that the stain actually stains the concrete and that it was NOT a paint on top on the concrete. After being in our home for 2 months- the stain has come up in several areas of our home and still continues to . It's comes up very easily! My child cannot play with any toys on the floor because of it. The guys put tape on the floor durning construction causing it to pull up stain when the tape was pulled up, when his guys came out to "fix it" they stained the areas darker so I have multiple dark lines inside my home. They sealed over paint spots so I have multiple white specks by my front door. I also have multiple foot prints in my house from where someone stepped on the stain while it was wet. The owner said it had to be someone else but while the floors were being stained no other contractors were allowed here for 48 hours so the stain could dry. I spent good money on my floors and the owner will not accept responsibility! It's sad that my contractor is making it right when the owner of this...
