A few years ago, my wife made Christmas cookies that I was supposed to take to work. They made it to the car on the morning of the assignment, but the delivery was not completed. Forgot. Same thing next day. And again. Eventually the cookies slid around in the car and took refuge, out of sight under the passenger side car seat. Being out of sight, the assignment was abandoned. A few days later, I pulled up on an interstate exit ramp, coming to a rapid stop and they reappeared from under the seat, reminding me of the uncompleted task. On the corner was a homeless person, looking really down on his luck and adrift without the comforts of a shower or a shave for months. His haunting pitiful expression said as much about his situation as the hand printed cardboard sign “Anything Helps!” I rolled down the window, stretched to recover the festively decorated box of cookies from the floorboard and offered them to the poor fellow. “Here, my wife made these” I said.
So, what in the hell does this have to do with Buffalo Wild Wings?
My brother-in-law gave us a Buffalo Wild Wings gift card for Christmas. It’s the thought that counts. Now which franchise location do I visit. I read numerous reviews on Google and Yelp, for all of the Tulsa area Buffalo Wild Wing restaurants. A substantial number of the recent reviews were not at all complementary. The convincing one-star reviews, consistently highlighted, bad food, long wait times and poor service. And the good reviews lacked persuasive, substantive evidence. I wasn’t expecting a Michelin star rating for a bar, serving chicken and fries, but my conclusion…nope this place ain’t for me. I have been tricked before…Not this time. Pass.
Now I have an unused $25 gift card. It is conveniently stored within reach and for quick access, in my car’s glove box. Have you figured this out yet?
Well, if you happen to be dining at Buffalo Wild Wings and notice a grubby, unkempt, malodorous individual, blissfully enjoying a cold beer and a pile of chicken wings…….

Read moreMy husband and I are regular b dubs customers. We live in Claremore so we tend to visit that location the most. We were in Tulsa for the day and decided to stop in since we love everything this restaurant stands for, from the fresh food to outstanding customer service. After today, I can honestly say that doesn't hold true for all locations. My first complaint was we sat at our table for at least 10 min before we even got greeted and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Our server walked in to the bar from the back of the restaurant, we sit in the bar area, eating ice from a cup Before greeting us. We felt like we had interrupted her break. After we ordered our food we did wait a good while to get our food which we usually don't mind because it's a sign the food will probably be hot and fresh. Our wings had decent temperature but our potatoe wedges were old. We order these every time so we are familiar how they are supposed to look and taste. We informed our server so she went to the back and brought out a new order. They were the same ones! They looked and tasted exactly the same as the ones we showed concern about. Our server asked if they were better and my husband openly admitted that they weren't and the only response and result we got back was, I'm sorry. Fresh ones were never made for us and we ended up paying full price for something we didn't even eat. I felt like we shouldn't have had to continue to bring it up, something should have been acknowledged and fixed from the beginning. Needless to say, we won't be returning to this location in the future. I work in the restaurant industry myself and I am understanding that people and situations aren't always going to be perfect but from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out, it was just one thing after another and there were simple solutions to a customer that could have been made but because of lack of customer service...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE YOU WILL GET SICK!! let's just say i will be filing a complaint with the tulsa health department as well as their corporate office. So if you want to be violently ill please continue to eat here. I got sick once from here thought it was fluke but its not because I or a member of my family will get sick each time we eat their "food." We noticed the pattern as we only got sick when we ordered B-Dubs. So this obviously was the last time. Besides I don't know how this restaurant gets any reviews above 2 stars! When I order food from here its ALWAYS wrong, cold, gross missing something, rude employees, and takes 2 hours for one small order. I ordered take out online, estimated time the food would be ready was 30 mins, perfect it would take me 30 to get there. I get there 10-15 mins past the time it should have been ready. I was told they it was still being made (20 piece bonless, 2 mac n cheese, one fry with celery and carrots). I waited an additional 20 mins. When I got my order the food was cold, sauced wings were dry and rock hard, Mac and cheese was just bare hard noodles, celery and carrots were old too. White dry withered carrots and crusty yellow ends of the celery. The order had been sitting there for awhile!! How could you still be making the food and then EVERYTHING is COLD and looks 2 days old?!? I understand it wont be pipping hot since i got there a bit late but for them to lie and say its still being made was ridiculous. They probably just couldn't find my order. On top of all that they forgot my fries and other order of Mac intended for my children. So we asked to speak to management to tell them what was going on and they were so unprofessional and uncaring. With a, "Okay, what do you want ME to do about it?" attitude. Nothing, sir, do nothing. I'm sure the Health Department will, tho. This restaurant chain and those who manage it simply...
