This Gujarati shop owner should be jailed for playing with peoples' health. Not only he sells expired products, but he tries to fool customers by scratching the expiry date of perishable products. He is full of bullshit and he does not even care to greet (say hello/hai) the customers. This is the most expensive store in Tulsa, I kindly request you not to shop in this store, full of expired stuff and prices are very expensive. A BIG RIP OFF IF YOU PLAN TO SHOP HERE (LAXMI SPICES OF INDIA).
I bought a meat tenderizer powder from this store, after I went home, I opened it immediately and I noticed there were bugs inside the powder, with the bad smell. I further noticed that this was expired, because the shop owner removed the expiry date, which I did not see while I am purchasing from this store. I went to the store to return this item. The owner (OLD GUY) is impolite, brutish, uncivilized; he did not accept this item and did not refund me or even exchange the product.
With vulgar looks, owner started arguing with me, that bugs came into the powder, because I did not keep my house clean (hygienic). Owner (Old Guy) did not even care or apologize. He was rude, arrogant, disrespectful and ignorant about the customer service. He forgets I have a choice to shop at other stores. His body language, attitude, and behavior are highly unacceptable at all.
As other reviewers have pointed out, this store sells very poor quality products, old and stale. I have shopped at many Indian stores in different parts of the country and I have never had the issue I am having with this store.
Very worst store. All items are old and expired. There are no expiry dates on products.
Don't go to this store. The shop owner is selling expired products this will definitely ruin your health. Please be aware of EXPIRED products. Definitely gives Indians a bad name!!! I wouldn't...
Read moremy fiance and i came here, and we weren't greeted at all. i personally wouldn't mind, but the only sign there were people there were the sounds of the owners phones playing videos. we walked around, and things were not tidy, and it was difficult to find specific items. we saw a soda called thumbs up in the freezer, and when we opened the freezer door, it smelled disgusting, like rotted food. we went ahead and purchased the drinks, along with tea spice and instant biryani. the owner was somewhat pleasant as we bought our items, and we left. maybe we didn't notice because of how dark the store was, but once we reached our truck, we saw the drinks expired march of 2024, a year and a half ago. the tea spice lacks an expiration date, but the instant biryani expired november of 2023!! i was so excited for this store, but the expired food and gross environment made this a...
Read morePlease keep away from this Shop if you want to remain healthy. Selling Rice from India with dead bugs inside the bag. When washing dead bugs will float on the water. I bought last week Palakkadan Matta (Rice Brandh) which I tried to return the bag, the owner and his wife asking me to pay restocking fee plus deducting 1 KG used rice charges when I asked to refund full. Finally he disown the product which was sold to me telling I must have bought from some other shops. Also the serial number of the rice is not on his record. He never put any serial number on the receipt. That also a lie. Total lies. When I called the supplier in New Jersey, he said he never sold rice for the last one year to this shop which says he is selling very old rice packets. Buyers keep away...
