I live just blocks from this store, therefore I shop there for the convenience for a few packaged foods, pet and household items mostly and some deli items. My go-to store is Natural Grocers for their high quality organic produce and selection of all things organic. Reasor's cannot get me to buy their organic produce, unless I'm desperate and don't want to take the drive to 33rd and Harvard Ave. Each time I've done so, I am disappointed with not actually finding the item I need/want or just not getting it after all due to the appearance of its freshness. I like Reasor's a lot for its location and the selection of other merchandise. I think the prices are a bit high due to the neighboring apartment building --- if people shuck out the bucks why lower the prices? But my tally is always higher than I'd expect for a general supermarket. I also stop in around the corner at Whole Foods for ALL my meat, and some of their bakery and deli items. I like that Reasor's competes, but they could provide more organic choices in the dairy section -- yogurts, milk, ice cream, entrees --to get more of my money -- in fact, IS there an 'organic section for packaged foods' such as was there when it was Food Pyramid? I have yet to find one. The place is super clean and friendly, which is why I keep returning. But, here is one moreVERY, VERY important suggestion --- What about sustainability??? STOP using the plastic bags!!! Provide some Reasor's canvas bags for your regular customers to purchase(ka-ching $$ -- remember, they will pay) and get free advertising, while HELPING the environment -- which is the objective to appeal to the young professionals and older socially conscious customers, and youngsters. Seems like a no brainer. Millennials will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'd call this particular Brookside store a much smaller, boutique location. Typical go to buy 12 - 14 advertised items, only to obtain only 2 or 3. The rest they don't even carry, per their management!
Additionally, for many years throughout the Tulsa market, it has been common place for both public & in-store advertised sale items to not ring up @ advertised, but full retail (not competitive) price!
This store's recent flyer advertised a deceptive spaghetti & meatball dinner. Contrary to their public sales flyer included in USPS mail, in store the dinner didn't remotely resemble the ad! It was a tiny "serving" of noodles, sparsely 'kiss' of tomato sauce, & 1 tiny meatball.
Beware! Their Tuesday 1-day specials most often do not exist on their shelves, or even in their inventory! That's perfectly acceptable to management.
Furthermore, they do not issue rain checks for their non-existent supposed sale items! I assume it's because they can't issue a raincheck for something they openly admit they don't carry!
Bait and switch sales scams are neither ethical nor legal. Store managers @ varied locations uniformly blame their headquarters & supposedly nothing can be done about these long-established, deceptive practices!
I seldom shop there anymore. IF I do go in, it's for convenience if it's on my way to another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHi. I usually go to this reasors ona regular basis. I love it, very clean and organized. The staff is usually friendly. The last couple visits have been horrible due to staff. There is one particular personal shopper that is beyond rude and pushy. She pushes through customers with her cart and steps in their way not even considering their personal space or the fact that she might be in their way of an item they are reaching for. She has no respect or consideration for others around her. I have watched her on numerous occasions do this to other people and myself. I think this is something that should be brought your managers attention because this isnāt just a one time thing. It is every time I am in the store I see her act this way. I believe her name is Ceci. One day, I asked her a questions and she looked at me then looked away back her pad. I understand covid is making things different but it shouldnāt be making other paying customers feel like they are in the way of the employees. Thank you for taking the time to read. I usually love this reasors and think for the most part the staff is friendly and the store is clean and run...
