Worst store ever. I went in yesterday to drop off a package. It needed one piece tape, and they said I had to buy tape or a $3 charge. I asked him when they began this fee. The man working told me all the stores charge it. I was upset then I walked out.
Then I realized it was an independent franchise, and I went it to question whether it was UPS fee or just that's store fee. He stated "all the stores charge it." I then pressed more asking him again if it was a UPS fee or just that store's fee. He told me then "well the post office charged it so we started charging it." I stated that not what i am asking. I was asking if this is a UPS run store or independent franchise with regards to the fee. He told me again "everyone charges it." So I asked if I contact UPS they will tell me all the stores charge $3 for tape. That's when he told me they are an independent franchise.
I was upset about the fee at first, but I can understand (though if everyone is charging it wouldn't you not so you can have more customers coming that way). All of this I did not find out until reading the two page contract of a receipt they gave to me AFTER making the transaction.
Friendly and helpful service, but they had some trouble with the details of my shipment.
EDIT: In fact, I should add that the service was VERY helpful and friendly!! I walked in the door like a lost puppy and they came up to me and started walking me through the process right away. I would imagine that my specific interactions were a result of shipping an international package through USPS, but my experience still remains the same. I sat in the store for 40 minutes trying to figure a return out and they were not very nice or understanding. My hands were full as I was trying to get out of the way so the employee could help others . She watched me struggle to pick up all the boxes, while continuing to tell me I was wrong, and they fell out of my hand. Then I sat in a chair for 40 min on the phone with amazon about why they are asking for individual labels ( prime wardrobe never has individual labels you need to print out ) and they just went about their conversation.
