This was my first time to get my car's oil changed at this place, and it was a terrible experience. If I could choose, I would give it 0 points. Because they just want to get paid but do less work, especially Anthony. Because I didn't have an appointment, the front desk staff Marie told me that I would have to wait for two hours. I accepted the time and asked if I needed to pay first. Marie told me no, just go outside and line up, someone will greet me. I went out and saw a car waiting for service, and two staff were serving two cars at the time. It was about 11:45 am. About 12 o'clock, the two cars inside were ready and left the workbench, and the staff also left without giving us any explanation. After waiting for about half an hour, I asked the owner of the car in front if he was waiting for service, she said yes and told me that she arrived at 11:25 and wished me good luck! About one o'clock, someone finally came, and I said I didn't have an appointment, and I needed to change the oil of my car. The staff said that I didn't have an appointment, and I needed to wait for a few hours and told me that it was full until 6:30 in the afternoon. I asked why no one told me, and Marie told me that I could wait in line here. Anthony said arrogantly that he was the manager here and that we had to listen to him, and that the people inside had no say. I said my question was why no one told me that I had to make an appointment when I was waiting in line, and that I had been waiting for more than an hour in the 100-degree heat. Anthony said that he had just come back from lunch and couldn't tell me, and that the people working inside were new and they didn't know. I said I wanted to talk to your manager, and he said yes, no problem, and that Marie was the manager. When I reported the situation to Marie, Anthony actually denied what he had said, which I found ridiculous, that the manager of a store had no say, and that the department manager had to say something. In the end, Marie helped me deal with the incident. I don't know what their criteria for selecting managers are. It only took 20 minutes to change the oil in my car, but it took 35 minutes from Anthony's refusal to serve to the start of the service, and before the service started on my car, no vehicles with appointments came in for service. It was 3:00pm when I left. I will never come to this place for...
Read moreI go to this Walmart quite regularly. I know the store very well. But, sometimes, I need to find something I haven't bought before. Today, Drano, a flashlight, and a usb-c to usb-c cable. I found the first by asking a security guard wandering the store. I could not find a Walmart employee in that part of the store (tools). The security guard was very helpful and walked me right to the Drano. (I rewarded his good work with another request); he then walked me right to the locked display cabinet in Sporting Goods that held Flashlights. Maybe one to two minutes to find flashlignts. Turns out, finding the flashlight was easier than finding a Walmart employee with keys to the cabinet. I walked around the store asking every employee if they had keys. 20 mins later... Then the next adventure... Usb cables, obviously in electronics. Walmart employee was serving a customer, with one waiting, so I wandered around and found the cables, locked away. Walked back to electronics counter - three more ppl had joined the line. I asked Walmart woman if there was someone else who could help me with locked cabinet - nope, she had the key, wait in line. (Rather than doing her job serving customers, the lady was very friendly and talkative about any and everything, with each customer, making every customer wait. I understand a little friendly conversation, but this was rediculous! Twenty minutes, she serves me. There's now five more pol in line. So, the woman opens the cabinet; I choose a cable for $7.47. I have other things to buy, so I'm ready to move on. HOWEVER, woman says I have to pay for the cable before I leave Electronics. By now, I have maybe six items in my cart, and still have to get groceries and frozen stuff (intentionally left til last). I tell woman I still have stuff to get and I'll pay up front. She responds "pay here, now (i.e., at Electronics counter) And, no, she can't ring up other items. MY POINT IS: DIFFICULT TO NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO GET SERVICE, PARTICULARLY LOCKED CABINETS; TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE; WHEN YOU FINALLY FIND SOMEONE, THEY ARE UNHELPFUL OR BUREACRATIC AND UNHELPFUL. So, five stars for having everything I want; one star for customer service....

They are making up policies that don't exist to make transactions at the money center more complicated for no reason. In all of my time going to Walmart I have never needed my id to reload a card but all of a sudden they are carding people to do reloads... Talking about the name on the reload card has to match the name on the id... So you mean to tell me if someone else was in there reloading the card for me that you would turn them away because their id didn't match or didn't have an id at all??? That you would rather lose business??? Not to mention I have never had to go through that before... Then to add insult to injury the "manager" tells me that this has been a "policy" for Walmart for the last 6 months, when I have been there several times within the last 6 months to more than just this location and have never been carded... I explained to her what one does, they all should do... meaning every employee should be doing the same thing if this is a Walmart wide policy! I can see if I was using the card to take money off but to put money on it this policy makes no sense.
Prejudice may have also been a factor here seeing as how the staff make up is majority of Asian and Middle Eastern descent... People of color will innerstand!
Let's not forget this money center line is ALWAYS long everytime I come in and there is usually just one representative working this area đ©
THIS Wal-Mart should definitely be ashamed.
They could use some major improvements: customer service đ©đđŸđ€ź; store cleanlinessđđŸ; and it's a shame you can't overhaul some of the customers as well because they too lack the sense of personal space of others and manners.
This is one of our least favorite Walmarts to visit but we use to come here out of convenience some time... After my last visit however, I'd rather battle the traffic and gas prices to go someplace else than compromise on the quality of...
