A new store, empty shelves, pisspoor service: My wife and I tried it out. Were struck by expanse of empty shelves, particularly in what might pass for shoe dept. But that's not why we'll think twice about going back: Although it was the middle of an ordinary Thursday afternoon, there were 18 carts, or people with hand-held items, in the check-out line. We had to wait over fifteen minutes. The brand-new store has EIGHT numbered registers, but only TWO were open. Immediately in front of us were three little boys who had no merchandise, When they got to the front of the line, suddenly their mother rolled up a full cart from the side. She had not waited in line at all. When we protested, one of the two cashiers came over and told us that SHE was next. There were two security guards standing in the vicinity, but they took no action. We felt humiliated. Why did the store have eight registers anyway? As we left, the line appeared...

I’m starting to understand why ppl rather spend more on websites like Gymshark and Alphalete because at least you’re guaranteed a selection and your size. I’ve been shopping with Ross for over 10 yrs and man, the quality keeps going down. The purpose of people coming to stores like this is so that you can get more for a better price while also looking good. The problem is clothes items like leggings and such have such bad stitching designs that you can tell they are off brand. On top of that, active wear is ALWAYS sold out. Like if there is a high demand there should be more selections and restocks. There’s so many reject/clearance clothing instead. I’ve gone to Castro valley, San Leandro and Union City just to see the same...

Is my first time going inside the store, next thing I’m being followed by this tall big security by the shoe kids section, I felt so uncomfortable I walk towards the 2 security that were standing in front of the store. They both were looking at me. I confronted the big security asking him why are you following me In the store. He says I don’t know what your talking about, he also raise his voice at me so guilty. He is profiling racially. Even the girl manager was not even talking politely with me wow what a bad experience to walk into this store. She even told me go to Burlington.
