Shannon Square — Local services in Union City

I was at this location by driving by when I noticed an elderly couple with a flat tire. Me... well my instinct said assist them because it could be my parents or grandparents. Not to mention my daughter. So.... I pulled over got them to pull their car 🚗 into the parking lot. Which is next to Popeyes. I got them situated and they were happy. They both were so excited that they both wanted to give me a nice tip I turned down the tip....but we grabbed a to go meal from Popeyes. And ironically the manager walked up and said that was a great thing for which I did. And again the couple was so happy about getting the tire change. The manager up graded my meal 😋 which I was ok with. Long story short....it doesn't hurt to try to help someone....we all get...

It was a normal experience… nothing really stood out, but it got the job done. Shannon Square has a mix of stores and services, so it’s convenient if you need to knock out a few errands in one trip. The parking lot was a bit crowded, but I didn’t have too much trouble finding a spot.

The area felt fairly clean and maintained, though some storefronts looked like they could use a bit of updating. Customer service in the places I visited was average—nothing bad, but nothing that made the experience memorable either.

Stopped in today as I do about once a week to grab food togo and both my tractor and trailer was booted although connected. The issued time and paid time was 15 min. I was there spending money and it cost me $500. Upon returning to my truck with food in hand I see the guy who says...this isn't my area I was on my way home, the other guy is out sick so I decided to make some money.
