I'll start off with the best thing about the bowling alley: The security was great! The guards were friendly and actually talked to us like normal people. For me, if the security was the best part about the experience, there's a lot of room for improvement. We thought the place would have been pretty cool and they even had hookah, drinks, and a lounge.
Now for the bad. When we got there we were put on a waiting list and that's a normal thing when bowling at night and on a weekend. So we were cool with that. After we were put on the list we ordered wings with fries and tenders with fries at the kitchen.
We waited about 35 minutes then I went to check on our food. There was a mix up and the employee that took our order thought I was picking up a different order. Once she realized I had a different order, she let me know it wasn't ready. The wait time for the food wasn't that much of a problem, even though wings and tenders take about 20 minutes at most to make. When we finally got our food, the order of tenders was missing the fries that were ordered with it. We decided to not worry about it because it was busy.
The main problem was the wait to bowl. About 15 minutes into waiting for our food, a lane opened up. We expected one of the two groups ahead of us to be placed there. Another 20 minutes goes by and another lane is opened up at the end of the alley and a group was there immediately. a few minutes after that, a large group came in and they were almost immediately placed at a lane. Meanwhile, the first lane we watched people leave was still left open and no one was placed at that lane. There were people in the bowling alley going from lane to lane just tossing balls down each lane, including the first vacant lane. During our wait, at least 4 occupied lanes opened up.
After the large group was taken care of, the old man at the desk walked around and talked to another man that seemed to be the owner or a manager and even hung out with security. Never once did he check on the vacant lanes to see if it could be used for people waiting to bowl or pick up a phone to call people on the waiting list.
Eventually he looked at the first vacant lane and saw that it was empty and still didn't put anyone on that lane. By that time it was about 12:20PM. I waited a few more minutes before going to the desk and asking about the wait list and how many people were ahead of us (I already knew 2 groups were put in lanes, which is how many were ahead of us.) and he told us that we wouldn't have time to bowl because they do the "last bowl" at 1AM.
Honestly, it seemed like people that work there and run the place don't care and weren't attentive to the lanes at all. Might try and give it another shot on a different day or earlier and give them the benefit of a doubt, but I'm not sure of that. At this point, I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone intending to bowl. Maybe if you wanna hang out for the music and drinks, this could be a...
Read moreI was there Saturday night for a family Birthday Celebration. I only came because of him and it was a family event. We had a great time and this is nothing to do with the staff or environment. I has to do with what happened after we got home. There had to be a scanner there. You got people hanging out lounging in the front door vamping, smoking and what not. Not a classy look and it was not inviting for me. That is my opinion. My family had to be spoofed that night. Here is why. I got a call at 12:45 am which came up as my uncle name. I answered it. It was another person demanding that I listen and listen clear. The said person made it clear that he had my family member and blow his head off right now if I did not comply with what was to be asked. I needed to put my clothes on and leave the room if I was with someone. Calling the Police would be a bad idea. I am thinking this is a really bad joke. The said person stated that " this is not f!@@ing joke Brah.... we are apart of a Gang and we will blow his head off right now. He needed $1500.00 to save his life. I was trying to understand and reflect back if this was someone that could have been outside watching us the whole time. Another person gets on the phone and said gag the motherf!@@er and do I have CASH App or PAYpal Credit card account. I said no and what could I do to and I did not know what this cash app thing was. It escalated with a 3rd person grabbing the home or they had me on speaker one. You better give us what want and start beating on something that sounded like a person being beat. I will not go further in to details. I have made a report of this will my local police depart and here is why. The same thing happen to my Aunt. They called her and said that they had me and was going to kill me if she did not comply with the sending money by Cash App. She thought that I was calling her because it was my name and number. She was staying with my mother that night. Remind you, they just fallen asleep and we just left this event together. Hysterically waking my mother up, they both continued to say they did not have any money. This was said to the both of use by the said Gang members. "Why did call you saying you where the one that had money to meet out demands" The completely ruined our night and Mothers Day! This almost killed my mother that has a heart condition. It appears that Caller ID Spoofing is the new crime of choice. Be careful people in groups with the last same name. This is the only way I can see how they could execute us by names to call one by by to make this seem real. If anyone experienced this on Sat May 11, 2019 Early Morning May 12, 2019, please contact me. Cash App Tracey $051299t file a...
Read moreIt's a little run down. Bowling balls have cracks and looked extremely used. Some of the lanes required us to consistently call for ball retrieval. They didnt have a large number of balls and no one around checking lanes to gather unused balls. There is a bar/club area. Looks like mostly older blacks ( I am black so dont think I'm being racist by saying that). Its like a mini club I suppose. There is another bar area out on the bowling floor where you can grab beer and food. There are a couple of pool tables in this area. I believe you can only order beer in this area. No cocktails. Sun - Thurs, at the time of this post, there is unlimited bowling for $7 or $8 after 9pm. This includes shoes. The shoes were gross and very old. Prob from like 2000 so make sure you have socks. Ha! The parking lot is well lit. Plenty of parking. People of all ages bowling. Depending on your budget and expectations this is not a bad spot. I did feel safe but was cautious. No one out of control and everyone was well mannered and having fun. No young kids out of control. Please note - I visited on a Sat night around 10pm. It was NOT a mixed crowd at this time of the day. I also attended about a year ago with a church group during late afternoon. More of a mixed group during this time of day. I would visit again with my own...
