Went in for a couples massage and although there was some type of system glitch where they didn’t have us booked for 7pm, even tho we received a confirmation email and text, they apologized through a translator on the phone and asked if we could do 7:30 instead. We had no problem with this and came back a few minutes later where they took us right away to a room with massage music playing , dim lights and with two heated massage tables. Nancy was my therapist and she was absolutely amazing and sweet. I work out twice a week with a personal trainer and was very very sore. There wasn’t any muscle that Nancy didn’t expertly concentrate on to relieve my knots and soreness. I will say the pressure was very much deep tissue and she got on the table to really dig in with hands and arms, but my husband and I prefer these type of deep tissue massages. She did check in to ask if the pressure was ok. If you are sensitive, or can’t take this kind of pressure, you may need to say something ahead of time or go elsewhere. If you aren’t willing to pay cash upfront for services and can’t bring yourself to tip at least 25% then you also need to go elsewhere. I don’t doubt for a min that they have had to deal with people that try not to pay for services so understand this policy 100%. There was a bit of a language barrier at first but the pros outweigh all of that, I don’t judge anyone for this. If you do, bye. They are very busy and may not have enough staff to be out in front when someone comes in as they did have to step out a few times but again my husband and I are very understanding and the ladies apologized for this. The hot stones, face massage and detailed foot massage at the end just completed this amazing experience. We were wobbly wet noodles walking out the door ready to go to sleep. The five star reviews are very accurate, don’t listen to the cheap, can’t tip, unhappy customer reviews. If you don’t want your entire body touched professionally and are that uncomfortable being undressed under a sheet, you shouldn’t get a massage. Stay home so that those of us that don’t mind can get an appointment . Nancy you were amazing, I’ve gotten massages from the Wyndham in Las Vegas to small businesses in Chicago, Jamaica resorts, etc. (I travel alot) and you are by far the best massage therapist I’ve had. My husband and I were very happy and we will return again. Thank you...
Read moreAfter a long work week, I decided to treat myself to my first massage ever. I live very closed to this establishment and saw decent reviews so I gave it a try. I had booked my appointment a few days in advance online to reserve my spot. Upon arrival, she had told me they were closed for the day. I was a bit confused as I had a scheduled appointment. She told me she wasn't aware of this but to give her "a few minutes". I waited in the room almost 30 minutes past when my appointment time was just for her to come in and start the massage. She did not have music playing and all I could hear was the sound of the road nearby. She was also sick and kept clearing her throat every minute or two and even ran out for a cough drop mid massage a few times. I don't know why you're operating under those conditions personally but maybe that is my fault for staying. The massage was okay but I felt as though I could have asked someone in my family to perform the same technique. After she was finished, she had taken my cash off the table and told me she would come back with change and "discuss the tip" with me. I was a bit confused at the time but shortly after she caught me up to speed on what she had meant. After the service I had received with trying to turn me away & forgetting my appointment, coughing nonstop during my "relaxing" massage, and being late, I really did not want to leave a tip as I was not in the best of moods. My massage felt rushed and not relaxing at all. She handed me my change and reluctantly I handed her a five dollar bill just to be kind. She immediately pointed at a sign on the wall and said a 20% tip was basically required since it was a "personal service and not a restaurant". This comment angered me even more as she must have not had any clue as to how her sickness or scatterbrained self effected my experience. I thought it was downright rude to tell me how much I should tip you. I handed her MORE money and walked out. I don't know how you expect to have repeat customers when your customer service and communication is so poor. I will definitely be going elsewhere for a more...
Read moreI am so upset I wasted my hard earned money on these scammers. This place is definitely fishy and I can't believe I have to give them even one star. The problem started with the cash only policy, and you must pay first. I should've ran then had I known. I was lead to a bedroom set up with no music, no nice therapeutic smelling scent and you can hear the heavy traffic from 202 very clearly. The lady spoke no English, zero. She was pretty aggressive with her hands but I was so sore I'm thinking it's probably necessary. "Hurts so good" as they say. And sometimes I could feel her nails digging into my skin. Along with the heavy 202 traffic the hardwood floor was squeaking loudly as she's walking around. It was very hard to try and relax, and I could not enjoy my massage at all, instead I was very tense and aware of every little movement and sound. In the middle of my session a costumer walked in and she walked out and pretty much shooed him away. I heard the whole thing and thought it was odd the way she shooed him away. Another added interruption to my "spa" moment, right? At one point it felt like she was trying to slough off the skin on my back with hot stones, odd technique. Finally the massage is over and I was still trying to be kind as I handed her a 15% tip. She then pointed to the sign on the wall that I had missed, they expect 20%!!!!! I told her I had no more cash on me and she was not happy as she opened the door and rushed me out!!!! I was stunned as I sat in my car thinking "what the f--- just happened?!!!" I came home that night and was so sore and knotted up in my shoulders. I had to put on menthol creme that night to sleep and when I woke up the next day my shoulder and the back of my neck was so swollen!!! I cannot believe the good reviews on here got me to go there. I will never trust good reviews again after this!!! Oh and btw, this sign was in the room I was...
