My positive experience at this store is the in-person customer service you get, I'm starting to think it's all facade. To begin this is a little bit my fault with a last minute purchase but at the same time not really. I went to this Nordstrom on the 22nd to purchase a tux shirt for my wedding coming up on the 31st and the tux shirt needed a button moved over. I was told by the store associate since it's only a button that will need to be moved over. It will be able to be tailored and sent on Friday the 23rd and be at my house no later than May 28th. I noticed that my order was not shipped on May 27th and I called the online customer service and they were unable to help because the shirt was not sent yet and told me to wait one more day since I was told it would be here by the 28th. It is now the 28th and my tux shirt is still not sent at this point in time. I have had to call the store multiple times because the first time I called I was transferred to the orders department and left on hold for an hour and 3 minutes, during this time I called using my business phone 45 minutes into my hold to see if I was able to locate anyone. Customer service transferred me back to the same department and the phone just kept ringing and no one answered. I called back and let customer service know that no one answered and they then transferred me to the store manager. Come to find out the store manager is out of the office until May 31st. At this point in time the call that I ended up being on hold for for a total of 1 hour and 3 minutes was hung up on and I called customer service back and detailed everything including every call I made and they attempted to call the acting store manager and they did not enter their phone. Customer service took my name and number and I am awaiting a call back at this point in time. This is one of the most poor customer service experiences I have had. I'm very disappointed and now I'm going to have to drive over 2 and 1/2 hours to go get the shirt myself for my wedding that is in 3 days. I am unbelievably frustrated at this point in time, Nordstrom please do better with your customer service and don't just have the great facade of your store associates. I'm extremely disappointed, as I normally only have positive experiences here, but this is a big ball that was dropped. Please don't guarantee me that my shirt will be shipped out if it's not going to even be shipped out in a reasonable fashion knowing that I paid extra for the tux shirt to be shipped within two...
Read moreMy wife and I came into Nordstrom to return a gift from her grandmother. Her grandmother places a big Christmas order each year for everyone with all gifts from Nordstrom. We typically return items in less than a few minutes and are on our way. We live around 40 minutes away from this KOP location.
We came in to process the return with Kaleem M. in menâs. We told him we had a return and he let out a groan. We gave him many, many pieces of information to process this return. Kaleem became increasingly frustrated, and shut down on us. He wouldnât tell us which information wouldnât work and what was. We apologized for the inconvenience multiple times to be met with not a single moment of eye contact, a kind gesture, a âno problemâ nothing. As Kaleemâs patience wears thin, he finally finds the correct return.
He immediately processes it back to the original credit card. Even though itâs a gift and we asked for it to be put on the gift card that we were holding out the entire time, he processed it and got angry that we asked him to perform a void after. After many more minutes of him struggling, he left without saying a word while muttering âthis is going to be a lot more difficult than i expected.â
He walks a few aisles over, pretends to look for a manager and then returns saying â the manager is gone, I canât process this return without the manager, come back another timeâ we were absolutely appalled as we knew that was a lie right from the bat. A manager is not needed for a return and thereâs an MIC on each floor but thanks for the rudeness, hostility, impatience and dishonesty. He stared us down as we asked for the item back and the receipt. The first time we received eye contact.
We went upstairs to TaMya in active and she processed the return within 2 minutes and was incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable.
If you donât know what you are doing, just say so or ask for help. Sending us away is so rude. And laughable when two employees treat you in exact opposite ways.
We will avoid the menâs section in this store and Kaleem in general. He needs a lot of training in the POS system and...
Read moreI bought my wedding dress with this bridal shop a few months ago. When I tried on the sample dress in the store which was somewhere around a size 2-4, the woman helping me told me âit fit perfectly like a glove.â After getting measurements and ordering my dress, I somehow ended up being ordered a size 10. I realize there are some different factors working here, and ordering a larger size is smarter, but this jump in size seemed a little strange. I trusted the shop as they do this a lot more than me, and allowed the order to be pushed through. I received the dress and it was unsurprisingly huge. I also received it without any inlay or breast cups so my top half was essentially see-through. I figured their tailor would fix this to look like the sample I had tried on. I am from the area, but live out of town, so scheduled what I thought was my first âfittingâ on a short visit back to the area. Due to lack of communication, it was not a fitting, but alas just a âmeet the dress appointmentâ... I was offered to only âlook atâ my dress after flying home and driving the 45 minutes to the bridal shop with no offering to see the tailor. At this point, I decided I was not able to continue flying home for these types of appointments. I took my dress to another tailor. I called this bridal shop just for advice on what inlay or breast cups they typically use for dresses like this (as the sample I tried on did not look like the dress in my hands) and they claimed the sample I tried on never had any cups or anything sewed in, even though I donât remember my guests watching me try on the dress seeing or commenting on my exposed nipples. I feel scammed by this bridal shop and that I was sold a dress that was not the size nor the look of what I tried on, experienced a lot of communication issues, and feel overall disappointed with how much work and time I must now put into fixing...
