Bob's Discount Furniture and Mattress Store — Local services in Upper Moreland Township

My husband and I visited this Bob's and met salesman named Ray. If you encounter Ray, please ask for another salesman or saleswoman as he was very rude and condescending to us. We have shopped at Bob's at different locations and never had an issue. We had various questions for salesman Ray and it felt as if our concerns were being mocked and he was not understanding. For example, we bought a mattress but we wanted to make sure it would be the same material since the bed on display was a full size and we were buying a queen size and we just wanted the assurance and/or clarification that since it is a change in size, the material would still be the same because we have had instances where the material was not the same when it came to mattress size difference. Instead of being professional and simply reassuring us or providing helpful insight, he was being very condescending and replied with " all mattresses are made the same" and he did not validate our concerns at all. Along with this, we asked if they took cash because some places we know due to not accept cash and we just wanted to make sure, and once again he replied in a very condescending manner, "well who doesn't take cash". These are just 2 experiences but there were many other instances that we experienced with him where he was not professional or courteous, he was NOT friendly at all. What a pleasant experience, we was lost on what choose for our new remodeling living room before arrive to Bob's Funiture at Willow Grove, as we walk in on the store here it goes our "ANGEL 😇" MS. Eilleen Guest Store Specialist introduced her self and from that point She guide us on every single detail basis on our ideas and expectations, her knowledge was the perfect gift for the Holidays Season, BEYOND A OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, my wife and I feel like home, Between Ms. Eilleen and the Store Manager was more than a warm welcome, Coffee was offered, they patiently help us to pick the right choice! Ms. Eilleen thank you so much 💓 for your this awesome time at the Store and your Store Manager for look into the purchase policies guidelines and considering a humanly decision for us to accomplished the purchase of our dream furniture, everything was just PERFECT! I am highly recommended this Store and do not forget to asking for Ms. Eilleen, She knows the great taste when it comes to the area of her expertise! Tldr. No urgency to resolve any issues. Sad excuses for solutions and poor attention to detail.

Tried to get a new grey counter height cosmopolitan table on Sunday for the following Saturday for a housewarming party. Originally had a Thurs delivery.

I trusted them when they repeated my order back to me verbatim 3 times even before me pulling my card up. I asked the cart order and said it will be on the email. Went through 3 sales associates and a manager and they stated this is correct and will be on the email and did not double check anything.

I ordered for a protection plan and white glove delivery.

They ended up ordering the wrong product, not wearing shoe covering and unable to accommodate their mistake and waive anything except a $50 credit.

They said that's the most their system can allow.

Wife wasted a day waiting for them to bring the wrong product, wasted a trip coming up here just to ask for a refund, and will waste another day waiting for them to pick this up.

Easier to get it somewhere else...
