THIRD UPDATE: Be very careful on Best Buy's facebook account. They have a 'customer service rep' phishing for card details! Some guy called me from India trying to hand over my details on a third party app. I realized they just saw a public post and then independently called me.

SECOND UPDATE: A 'rep' told me I would get a call today. Still nothing. This is now the 4th broken promise of a call in a week. Best buy is nothing but AI with no humans behind them.

UPDATE: I went ahead and tried the suggestion below yesterday and reached out. Its been 24 hours and its gone no where as far as I can see (just repeating the same things I've raised prior and then rep disappeared) and its becoming obvious that all of the lower level customer service elements within Best Buy are now AI based (something they announced this summer). If you have any issues with their products, do not expect them to help. Starting to miss the days when you could speak to a human and tell them your are missing part Z, and then they mail it to you.

I had a nightmare this weekend with an appliance delivery. If you want install - DO NOT USE BEST BUY.

I had paid for install and offhaul of my old dishwasher. The team arrived at 10:15am and while one member unloaded the unit, pulling the pallet off the unit etc. The other member had a look at the job. He saw that the floor of the sink cabinet had water damage from the past (its a 30 year old cabinet....) and said Best Buy has a new policy that they cannot install if any water damage is present. I asked to sign a waiver, but they said they no longer provide them.

I asked them to go ahead and off haul the old unit then, and again they said they can't touch anything...I would have to disconnect and personally carry the unit out the front door.

Frustrated, I asked for a refund of the extra services. They said they would call Best Buy and I should wait around for 20 minutes and then Best Buy would ring me and go over the process. I never was called and spent Saturday and Sunday chasing. I installed the unit myself and then realized the manual says there should be an insulation blanket. I'm thinking may be they left that in the truck. with the wood palette they removed. Best Buy said that I would be contacted by the warehouse but yet again its been another 24 hours and nothing.

I'm leaving this review in the hopes I finally get some sort of help. In my opinion, if you refuse install but then open up my package you better double check you didn't leave...

BUYER BEWARE!! I've been a long time customer in this store for several years. Had great customer service I've purchased so many of the appliances for personal and government use. I purchased a pedestal washer and storage for my washer and dryer. Upon purchase I was PROMISED that it will come with delivery and installation. I even have a witness and he also got misled with his delivery. When I got these products from the delivery and installation agent, they informed me that they will not do the install because my washer and dryer unit hasn't been purchased in the last two weeks. They also mentioned to me that BestBuy in Vacaville is notorious for informing their customers that installation is free just so they can make a sale.

That very same day, I spoke with BestBuy Supervisor named Benny and addressed this issue. He heard me and said he will address this to the store manager to make this right and I will get a phone call on Friday for installation schedule. That phone call never happened so I called to follow up on the status and hoping to get in touch with Benny to resolve this. Instead they forwarded my call to the appliance department and informed me that they will not do the install or even reimburse the cost for the installation fee.

I understand mistakes happen and wanted to give BestBuy a chance to fix it. Unfortunately, they refuse to recognize their mistakes in giving false information to customers to make a sale. This is a poor business practice on BestBuy's part and failing to recognize their mistakes and making it right. So I caution customers shopping from them.

I did lost wages for installation and delivery time. I also gave them a chance to make this right. This may fall under the Regulations of False Advertising 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a) California prohibits the dissemination of information about products or services that is "untrue or misleading," with both civil and criminal enforcement. My legal team will do a review and see if this can warrant a lawsuit.

I advise you to be honest with your customers and do not mislead them just in making sales. And when issues like this are brought up, please do what you can to make it right. I understand this pandemic has taken a toll on businesses but please have the integrity to do what is right. You know who I am and if you want to still make this right, you may...

This store is much better than an outlet store. All items are completely new and have a wide range of choices. The sales associates of this store who took care of us are professional and gentle.

Finally, we purchased new kitchen appliances. "Whirlpool" four-door refrigerator which has a double door located on top, and the freezer bottom has two doors that separately open as if you have two small freezers, and we loved this design concept very much!

We also purchased an approx sized H70"xD27"xW23" "Frigidire" refrigerator that is tall and narrow, and there are three drawers bottom of the freezer. It looks very modern and sleek in style because it doesn't have a visible door handle bar. It looks so cute!

We decided to upgrade the electric range as well, and this time we chose the "Samsung" smooth surface electric 5 cooktop which comes with a cute-size stove top griddle and oven basket. The oven design was very interesting from the outside, it looks like a double oven, has two separate doors but when it opens, it can be like one door, and it looks like one full-size ordinary conventional oven. But the oven has an adjustable full-size metal partition rack in the middle, because this is a dual oven. Behind the handle rod of the top position oven door is hidden an extra small pressing handle device, which opens like another oven like the exterior of a double door, and is converted into a small oven. They said it was an air fryer. Everyone will be flattered by this transformable oven design! We truly love this trendy design. No more extra air fryers take up the kitchen countertop! I think Samsung is one of the prestige and idealistic companies that everyone can enjoy!

Lastly, this Samsung dishwasher model has no protruding door handle bar so it looks clean and sleek in style Inside there are various sizes of racks and trays, It could make easy dish arrangements also they have a smart system installed on this dishwasher. For all that the price is amazing!

All these items are stainless steel, but not just shiny stainless steel. The item we purchased is flat white nickel texture finish stainless steel. What a beautiful texture!
