Went in last night at about 645 pm wanted a bread bowl they didn't have any that's fine I'll have a bagle with my order, girl at register was nice. Waited 20 min for a soup and half sandwich. It was Halloween the place was empty about 4 workers jusr standing around. Got my order the bagle was not included. Next got my bagle it was not toasted like asked. Then I get a bagle 10 mins later, it's burnt around edges. Boy hands back to the lady who made it (who turns out to be the key holder named tisha) she comes with Nagle in hand to challenge me on why I think the bagle is burnt. Really? What kind of customer service is that after I politely and quietly stood waiting with how many mistakes? As I went to leave finally over 35 mins of being there the same lady who is the manager on duty because I asked on my way out then cracks a joke about the burnt bagel! If anything tisha you shoukd have came around the counter to apologize for forgetting the bagle in my order not to challenge me on it bring to dark/burnt. I love panera and usually have a good experience here but this was very disappointing. It was Halloween maybe she was upset she was at work but being that im a manager at Starbucks if I had made this many mistakes with a polite customer I would have apologized to her and being willing to toast a baglewithout the nasty comments. Dissatisfied with this visit won't be back anymore if I'm craving panera like I was last night I will head...
Read moreMy wife and I came to Panera for dinner today. I haven't been to Panera in a while, but I had an $25 gift card from Christmas, so it was a good time to use it as we were shopping at the Nut Tree Plaza. The restaurant was clean and there wasn't many people eating when we first arrived just before 6:30pm. They have some self serve ordering kiosks and 1 register where someone can take your order. We bother ordered 1/2 sandwich/soup (Pick 2 deal). For the sandwich we each tried the limited time Ciabatta Dippers sandwiches. My wife got the Bistro French Onion Soup and I got the Broccoli Cheddar Soup. The Ciabatta sandwiches were good, but could benefit from a little more meat. The dippers is basically one of their soups, the French Dipper included the Bistro French Onion Soup to dip in and the Spicy Chicken Dipper had the Creamy Tomato Soup to dip in. We did not read the full description of the sandwiches, otherwise we would have either ordered a different soup or had a salad instead of soup. Overall, it was a pleasant meal, but for the price it left us wishing for a little...
Read moreI have only been to Panera Bread twice and this last time pretty much confirmed me never going back. It was extremely busy, and took a really really long time to get our food. They were not informative as to where to get the drinks poured that we had to do it ourselves. They also did not provide any glasses when we paid so that we knew we had to get our own drinks. When I finally went and picked up the food that was ordered, it was incorrect. Although I paid for something at a higher price I didn't actually get it. Because of the long wait I decided not to even mess with it and I was so disenchanted at that time I just figured the heck so that we knew we had to get our own drinks.
