The food here is absolutely fantastic. The spices and presentation on my drunken noodles with duck were absolutley amazing and the coconut ice cream served on sticky rice was the best desert ive had since I went to an extremely high end restaurant for my anniversary. The quality of the food here is comparable to a 5 star restaurant. You won't be disappointed if you eat here. But be warned the food is very spicy if u ask for it to be spicy. They give u an option between 1 being little to no spice and 5 being the Sahara desert. I thought I handle my spicy food well so I got a 4 in spice. Let me tell u that they do not mess around. Its absolutely amazing food. But know that it can be spicy. Why do u think I got the ice cream? To help balance the spice cuz I didn't know what I was getting in to. Now u do ;) is start at a spicy level of 2 or 3 and go from there. Btw the customer service is amazing here. Review --- over

Whisper it on the wind in quiet subdued tones, call it from the highest peaks whipped by chilled winds! Those two magic syllables, Curry! Like a prayer on a cold day or a song on a full moon, Curry! Hurry for Curry! Specifically Peanut Curry! Portioning carefully into white rice, the careful balance so you don’t end up with leftover rice or god forbid, leftover curry. A good bit of bite, but not overpowering, a delicate crunch to the veggies, savory and slightly sweet, and most importantly, a little brittle crunch to the roasted peanuts. Why do I always break out in a sweat when eating curry? Thankful for the mild Lime balanced tea, thankful for the good service and the peaceful space to settle into my lunch and listen to a good book, not The Good Book, just a good book with a good narrator. Good food and a good story, Vancouver may be missing a lot of things, but good Thai is not one of them.

Thai Wok Kitchen is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Portland/Vancouver area. I've eaten a lot rama Thai and pad kee mao in my life, but their peanut sauce and drunken noodles are out of this world. Their ingredients are always fresh and packed with veggies, their portion size is huge, and the staff always welcome you like family. I crave cold stormy days just to sip their tom kha. I'm constantly cycling through new favorites, and no matter how many times you come, you'll always find something incredible. I've eaten here for the better half of a decade and can't rate them high enough. If you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor and check them out. Don't forget to grab yourself a sweet treat too because their Thai Tea is some of the best in the city.

This little restaurant has been open for some time now and I have eaten here before but it has been years. Recently Facebook posted "top five reviewed restaurants in Vancouver on Yelp" and I wanted to try it out again and was not disappointed at all! First I ordered the pot stickers (sorry no pictures) and I was not disappointed at all, had a lot of flavors and the sauce was very good. They lightly sprinkle a crunch topping over the pot stickers and it added a new depth to the taste. For dinner I ordered the Kao Soii with chicken and you must be a peanut sauce lover! This sauce was so dang good and had just a little punch of heat to it! The egg noodles were just right and the pickled cabbage was really delicious! I highly recommend this dish! I can see why this place has high marks on Yelp and I will be back and will order this dish again. One thing I will start to do in my reviews is point out something that was missed at the restaurants in hopes that owners are reading what I have said see that maybe changes need to be made. I found that the booths were not big guy with a belly friendly, from what I could see when I walked out the booths could be moved around and make them a little bit more comfortable. Provide more napkins, it's a small request but serving a meal with a sauce and one thin napkin, messes are going to happen. Lastly and this is something that will go away soon since summer is almost over is the fly issue in the restaurant, invest in the ultra blue light devices that help...

I've been a loyal customer to this place along with my family. The food here is fantastic. But we have been treated unfairly these past few years. This has been happening since 2023, by the woman who's usually up front that wears a ponytail and has black hair. She once cut us off mid order and just left, mind you we weren't even done ordering. I thought this could just be a misunderstanding but this isn't the only incident we've had with her. Recently we went again. We were greeted by a nice lady who told us to sit down wherever we'd like. We sit down and the woman we've had a bad experience with hands us our waters, and walks off murmuring something to the lady that welcomed us in, instantly her attitude turns cold towards us. The whole time was uncomfortable for me and my family we just sat there being uncomfortably watched by the two women. On top of that we noticed that when it's a male customer or white customer the woman we've had a negative experience with is so welcoming and constantly checking up on their table, but with us it's like we're a bother, she never checks up on our table. We have never once disrespected them or the restaurant so I don't know where all this came from but it has been uncomfortable coming here, and we don't plan on going here anymore. Which is a bummer because we love the food here but the customer service with that...

You should go here if... 1) you dont know what to eat and you want to try something new and super tasty. 2) your friends are coming over and you are too tired to prepare a meal. 3) you want the most bang for your buck!

The sweet and sour and spicy duck is superb. The meat is tender and the skin is crispy. Sauce is not overpowering. It goes well with the crab fried rice. Finish your meal with the sticky rice and go home happy.

Edit from 5-2 stars: April 2022. Ordered the same thing we usually eat just before the pandemic hit. Sad to say that the food is way different now. 1. Crab fried rice. Cant see any chunks of crabs. Cant even taste any crab because of too much soy sauce. 2. Duck Sweet and spicy. Way overcooked. We like our duck skin crispy but the one we had is very dry. Crispy, but way overcooked and dry. The meat has already this off taste, probably because of it being frozen for too long. The greens that came with it doesnt look fresh either. 3. Sticky Rice and Mango. Still good!

Edit the edit: Went again after a year because we are missing the usual set we eat from here. 1. Crab fried rice back to its normal goodness. 2. Spicy sweet and sour duck back to being good, crispy and juicy. 3. Sticky rice and mango. Still good. Whoever is in the kitchen...
