Tiki Girl — Local services in Ventura

My husband and I went to to look around and go shopping while in town for vacation. We obviously worn our masks in the store but when I tried on some items I removed my mask because I was getting a little faint and light headed and wanted a fresh breath. When I opened the curtains from the dressing room to show my husband what I was trying on. The employee (beige hat hair pulled back) blared out "put your mask back on while trying on clothes" Her tone was extremely unnecessary and frankly very rude. There was no one in the store either just us. We decided to not purchase the items due the rude uninviting inhospitable attitude of the employee.

I've been a loyal customer of Tiki Girl for years, and when I moved out of the state of California I made a point of visiting the store each time I was in town to support this local business. A friend recently sent me a top from Tiki Girl for as an engagement present, and it was significantly too small in the chest. When I was able to make it back into town to try to exchange the top (only three weeks after my friend purchased and shipped it) I was unable to make my exchange even just for a size up because "the window of returns which is 10 days had passed". For any return that's ridiculous but especially for someone receiving a gift out of state, AND during times of COVID-19 with extremely slow mail service. I am so disappointed...

I live on the East coast but found Shop Tiki Girl through Instagram. I typically do not buy clothes online because of how tricky it can be however I cannot commend their customer service enough! They are incredibly responsive to any questions I had regarding sizing or availability, and are extremely prompt in every aspect while also being friendly and polite. Their website also provides very detailed descriptions and photographs of items so there are no surprises as to what you will receive when it is delivered. I placed an order late on a Thursday and my package was received on that Saturday even with it being a holiday weekend. Shout out to the eco friendly packaging as well! Big thumbs up and do not hesitate to purchase...
