Cinemas 5 — Local services in Vernal

My husband and I go to the theatre atleast 1-2 times a month. I don’t think we’ll be going anymore unfortunately. Last time we went they tried charging us a full price ticket for our 1 year old and told us we had to pay it if we wanted her to sit in her own seat even though only about 20% of the movie we were going to was occupied. Which is fine I just thought under 2 was free… this time I was in shock when I looked at the menu after I ordered and realized one large drink is 5 dollars! I know inflation is crazy right now but really?! Especially after I opened it and 70% of it was ice! Is ice really costing that much to make now days?! Not only that but the last couple times the young kid employees have been totally rude and unprofessional! Two employees were standing at the checkout screens. My husband and I sat there for about 2 minutes no one in front of us and we’re not greeted or anything finally my husband says does it matter who we go to and both just look at us no answer.. so I say no let’s go here I ask the kid if they have any saw popcorn buckets and he shakes his head no and doesn’t say one word… okay we start ordering again not one word until he told us the total instead just stared and waited for us to continuing ordering. Finally I said okay that’s it and he says 20 dollars.. that’s literally all he said the whole interaction. The popcorn was freezing cold also. It was just crazy! Sucks when that’s one of the only family friendly places around here and now it’s on the verge of not even being affordable for families because of the prices… it’s...

I like the fact that we have a local movie theater, as well as they play current movies. The seats are very comfortable, they also lay back and have a drink holder. The screen and sound are as good as a upscale city theater. I love the fact that they have several different movies to choose from. Movie price is affordable. When they made their marque digital it made it easier for them to post, but as your driving you are unable to see all that is playing at a glance. You literally have to park and wait for the digital to go through all the posts. It could be posted on the building in lettering as well as digital. I went to prebuy my tickets at the theater before we had dinner out. The kids working at the theater were all outside taking trash out so I was able to ask them. They said I could not do that as they were closed. Another time I brought friends with us for date night. We live in Rangely so this is a big outing . We went to get popcorn and was told they had no big buckets only small paper bags. Don't know if the girl was new or not. We ordered 4 paper bag popcorn. We thought we would miss the movie she was so slow. The other girl waited on 3 other people during this time. 4 popcorn and 5 drinks $25 !!! Cash only ! Luckily they had an ATM . What a nightmare. The theater heater was not on or broken. We froze during the whole movie. Very bad experience. Now my friends refuse to come back to the theater. The girl at the front counter asked me and my bestfriend to leave after we laughed at a funny part of the movie, they said they had many complaints but I know for a fact it was only one. Im really not impressed because they had one complaint on us, I'm mainly mad because the couple behind us putting their feet on our seat and the old man was continuously leaning onto me. Another part to that is another couple was MAKINGOUT behind us. Everyone could hear and nobody cared about them. The girls who kicked us out were also girl who didnt like me from school. It made me feel targeted because when we were paying for tickets they kept giving us dirty looks. I paid for movie tickets, sorry I over-paid for movie tickets and didn't get a refund I'm really not satisfied and it doesn't help that they popcorn sucked. Everything there was way too much money,...
