If i could give this store a 0 star review I would. As an employee of this company at a sister location I was extremely disappointed with my experience and targeted harassment. As an avid shopper and TJX card holder of this store I was completely disgusted with the treatment I received. I was purchasing a very expensive halloween item for Katherine’s Collection and the item had cracks along the arm with the paint peeling all around the cracked/severed arm. I informed my cashier of the damage and asked if I could receive the 10% damage discount or some type of discount for the damage on this item. She happily agreed that the item needed a discount and went to ask a coordinator for assistance. She came back with a coordinator (Rhonda) who grabbed the item out of my hands and tore the arm even more. She very rudely told me that they do not offer any form of discounts. I replied by telling her that I am an employee at another store in the state and showed her my AIN discount card. She then proceeded to harass me and ask for my store name and location which I gave her. I then asked for a manager to speak with and she refused to call for an MOD or ASM and began to raise her voice at me. I told her I would just take the item as is and try to fix a full priced item myself since “not even a dollar” could be taken off. I proceeded with my transaction with my very kind cashier (1060) and as I was finishing paying with my physical TJX card, the very rude CEC Rhonda peered over her shoulder and said “Make sure you check his ID.” I was not applying for a new card, or using any merchandise credits or gift cards so I felt this to be very in appropriate and humiliating. I feel very uncomfortable at this location and feel targeted because of my race and identity. Karin was incredibly kind and friendly as my cashier. I wanted to buy a small drawer set but there was some damage to the paint job. She was incredibly helpful and tried to see if a Magic Eraser could remove the discoloration. Unfortunately, it couldn't and I was saddened as this set would be the PERFECT addition to my living room. I want to store all my puppy's clothing and accessories in it. It was the only set in the color I wanted so the manager on duty was kind enough to provide a discount on the item for me! He too was grievous and very kind. Good selection / variety of items. Food items not always as fresh as one would expect - i guess that is when they are moved to clearance. Clearance aisle are extremely disorganized and messy. They keep on moving items all over the store that many times one can't actually find what they saw a week ago. The staff at the cash register are pleasant and helpful. Yet, the floor associates, mixed attitudes and friendliness. Many of their prices are no longer compatible. Price stickers / labels on plastic items (and on other items) don't peel off easily and leave stickiness (even if used under boiling hot water). The store/s must find a better way of doing it.
