Would give 0 if I could. Do not order online for pick up in the store if you’re expecting to be able to pick up your order on the day they say you can. I only ordered from Nordstrom because they specifically said my order would be ready on the date I needed it and it wasn’t. I don’t know if they are trying to compete with Amazon, and lying about their shipping and pick up times but, this has put me in a very tough spot and I feel like it is intentionally misleading and false advertising. When I called to inquire about the status of my order, the associate was able to tell me when my order shipped (at 2:00 on the day it was supposed to be ready for pick up) but not when I could expect to pick it up. They should be able to track these things accurately. I also chatted with customer service online and all they said was “sorry you couldn’t pick it up on time” they offered no solution or explanation. I ordered a birthday gift and needed it on time. Additionally, they charge your card a hold when you order, which is fine if I got my item but I didn’t…..so now not only do I have no birthday gift to give, but I don’t have my money back to try and shop for a new one...

On August 20, 2025 at around 6:45-7:30 pm, I was shopping at this store and as soon as I stepped into their sunglasses section today and asked for help, it took me 15 minutes to get assistance. Finally, when one of their sales associates, an older white woman, approached me, I observed that she was pouting when I politely asked if I could try on a pair of sunglasses. Her impudent manner, in which she rolled her eyes at me, made even the dog avert its gaze. I thanked her afterward, but sadly, she did not respond in kind. She stormed off, and I could tell that she was visibly annoyed. It was like a scene from an awful racist movie. I thought to myself, what do you expect from such a terrible woman? Read moreI recently visited Nordstrom Rack in Vernon Hills and had a mixed experience. Mark was extremely helpful and kind — he really put in a lot of effort to help us find the shoes we were looking for. Unfortunately, the pair we wanted had only one shoe in the box, and after searching, we couldn’t find the missing one. We ended up buying a size smaller because it was the closest option available. I also want to mention that another employee, Luba, seemed frustrated and annoyed, which added some pressure to our shopping experience. While we appreciated Mark’s excellent customer service, overall, it was a bit of a challenging visit considering the store was closing and we didn't have enough time to find the missing shoe.
