The sign on the door of Play It Again Sports says "Like us on Facebook for $5.00 off." In smaller print, you're advised that the $5.00 off is from a $25.00 order.

Coach Coogie from The Field House suggested stopping into Play It Again Sports to purchase a used baseball glove for my 7-year old son. It's summer and that means baseball camp. Coogie suggested a size 11 and a half.

My son and I arrived late on a Sunday afternoon, about 30 minutes before closing. I inquired about the $5.00 off for the Facebook like and suggested making it $10.00 off for a Facebook poke as well. The guys working the counter didn't find me funny.

Quick and easy - we went off in search of a used glove. My son tried on a couple of 11 and a half gloves - they were too big. We ended up with a size 11 that fit pretty well. Price was $10 and I learned the $5.00 off was for a $25.00 order. No big deal. It's posted - I just didn't read the fine print.

In and out of the store in about 15 minutes. Staff seemed knowledgeable and were polite.

Store was clean and had tons of parking. I've been here before - purchasing stuff at Christmas - but this is the first time I've had a chance to comment.

Recently I have been in this play it again sports store two times. The first time I walked around the store for no less than 10 minutes and maybe more. The guy behind the counter, the only employee there, stayed on the phone helping a phone call customer The whole time I was in the store he never acknowledged me or told me he’d be with me in a minute. He just totally ignored I was there until I finally walked out. Today I was in there looking at baseball gloves. There were two employees there and they were both talking to a male customer. Again, I was there at least 10 minutes, maybe more, and neither of them made any attempt to speak to me at all. Again, I walked out without being spoken to much less being offered any help by either male employee. I don’t know whether it was because I was a female or not, all I know is that the employees have been rude both times I’ve been there. I will not be back and I do hope the owner of the store sees...

Overall this store isn’t horrible HOWEVER… We tried to return a pair of softball pants that ONLY play it again sells. They were too big for my daughter. She plays travel ball so it’s all year.

Upon returning with the TAGS STILL ON AND THE STICKER STILL INTACT ON THE INSIDE TAG the man said we could have washed them. He said we had 2 weeks to do a return. We didn’t know that. My husband was even buying other stuff so a store credit would have been fine. We are talking $25 .. my husband was buying a 150 dollar pickle ball paddle!!

They would not take these pants back. Even for partial credit. Play it again sports sells USED sports equipment. Like they will buy someone’s dirty cleats and resell them. Or used weights and benches and golf clubs but they refused to take these BRAND NEW softball pants back even on EXCHANGE. Just super crappy...
