I regret to express my complete dissatisfaction with the experience I recently encountered at Batteries + for a screen repair. I believe it is my responsibility to provide an honest review of my unfortunate visit.
Firstly, I must address the exorbitant prices charged for the services rendered. I found the pricing structure to be significantly higher compared to other similar establishments, and the value received did not justify the premium cost.
Moreover, during my visit, I encountered instances of what I can only describe as discriminatory behavior. The staff seemed to display favoritism, treating certain clients differently based on unknown criteria. This blatant lack of equal treatment was not only disheartening but also wholly unprofessional.
Furthermore, the overall atmosphere of Batteries + was far from professional. I observed a lack of cohesion among the team, leading to a disorganized and chaotic environment. It was evident that communication breakdowns were frequent, and this directly impacted the quality of service provided.
Regrettably, the unprofessionalism extended to the manner in which issues were handled. When I expressed my concerns to the management, they appeared dismissive and unwilling to address the valid grievances I had raised. Instead of empathetic problem-solving, I felt my concerns were met with indifference.
In conclusion, it is my sincere hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for the establishment to reevaluate their practices and strive for the excellence that discerning customers expect...
Read moreI am disappointed by the store's policy toward key FOB programming. The policy of charging a non-refundable fee (in our case $64) to connect equipment to a vehicle, regardless if the key programming is successful or not, is unfair in my opinion. The key fob service finder on your website does not identify a 2010 Kia Rio5 in the search results (going back only to 2014), yet our vehicle was tested anyway at the recommendation of the store employee. The programming equipment output indicated that either the battery in our vehicle was bad or the connection port was faulty, resulting in a failed test. No.1, the car battery is literally 2 days old having just been replaced and No.2, the port in our car has been used successfully in the past to run diagnostic tests by both a Kia dealer and various auto parts stores. The experience at Batteries Plus leaves one to think that the store went through the exercise of programming knowing that the testing equipment is incompatible with older vehicles. I was willing to accept the risk of 50/50 success in programming our new key fob (purchased on Amazon), but since the fob itself was never even tested I am very dissatisfied that the store charged us for a failed attempt, especially since it took only about 5 minutes of the store...
Read moreWould give less than zero if I could. TERRIBLE service, incompetent associates. I dropped an IPAD off yesterday for repair. I was told a battery replacement would take about 2.5 hours and I would be called when ready. No one called, so I called the following day. I was told that they forgot to call but the IPAD was ready. I picked it up today. I paid $100 for the new battery. I got home and found that the IPAD does not charge. I called the store and the same associate who took it in yesterday, and who was also there today when I picked it up, is the one who answered the phone. I told her what was going on and she said "yeah, the charging port isn't working that's the reason why it isn't charging!!!" I said "why wouldn't you tell me that when I was just in front of you, or when I paid the $100 thinking it was fixed" her response "yeah, someone should have mentioned it to you!" That was it! Will never go back there. I had a phone repaired there prior and the associate was much more competent. Today they were more interested in talking to a guy that was there visiting them from another store. They obviously did not want to be interrupted to tell me that the IPAD was still...
